Our guide was really great (name began with ‘M’) extremely knowledgeable and gave lots of interesting information about the different food influences in the north of Thailand and also the history of the food vendors as well as other fascinating facts. I was honestly so full by the end, so feel that the last couple of vendors I didn’t appreciate as much! Pace yourself with the dishes though, the food is plentiful 😊.

Great small group tour. Very good with my 9yr old daughter and took us to places we would not have found ourselves.

Tree was the guide for the tour. His experience of having grown up in Chiang Mai adds a lot of credibility to the information he shared. He helped navigate and offer local insight. There was good selection of food. Spiciness of the food can be adjusted, and therefore very approachable. I would recommend skipping lunch and snacks and come hungry for this tour.

What a fabulous experience! Our tour guide was named Aim, and she was an absolute delight. We not only learned about some of the history of Thailand and its connection to food, but also we experienced some of the modern local stories. This made it feel like a tour not only suited for foreigners but also for locals wanting to know the best secret foodie spots of their own city. Of course each meal was delicious, and there so much food to try! My only advice is to not each too much beforehand, because you will want to leave room for everything! And I hope that when you do this tour you also are lucky enough to get Aim as your tour guide.
