Don’t follow the herd. Forget green curry and pad Thai, that's central Thai fare. Hop on board our private songthaew truck for four hours of feasting. Hit up the street eats and fresh markets across the city gorging on 15+ Northern Thai tastings. Many are unaware that this used to be the Lanna Kingdom well before it was part of Thailand and its food influences come from neighbouring Myanmar, China and beyond. We don't want to spoil the surprise, but some drool-worthy highlights include the zingy nam ngiaw noodles, the meaty larb salads, the sizzling lemongrass sai oua sausages and piquant nam prik relishes among many more lip-smackingly good tastings at places you'd struggle to find alone.

A fantastic experience! You will get to try so much food that you would never get to otherwise experience and all while guided by the amazing Moui. She has so much knowledge and passion for the food and history of Northern Thailand. I highly recommend for anyone who loves to try new food and/or anyone who loves to eat A LOT of delicious food.

Aim, our tour guide, was funny and well prepared. She booked a driver for our group of 7, carried lots of napkins, and sanitizers with her everywhere. Overall, we ate way too much food - her choices yielded a wide variety, most of it was not your typical Thai food. She sprinkled history and culture tidbits throughout the tour which made it extra special.

This was the most remarkable food tour I’ve had (and I’ve taken tours in Tokyo, Seoul, Venice, Rome…). Our guide Maui was so knowledgeable and engaging, and the pace of the tour was perfect. We had 6 stops and tried more than 20 things. Lots of pork, also chicken, water buffalo, fruit, even crickets. Seriously, don’t eat before you go, and pace yourself! Worth every penny and more.

We had such a good experience with Aim & our group - there was a convenient transport (so NOT a 4-hour walking tour!), very good food and lots of stories about the food, culture, and what makes it unique. Our group was much fun too, so overall it was a highly enjoyable experience.
