Chiang Mai
Don’t follow the herd. Forget green curry and pad Thai, that's central Thai fare. Hop on board our private songthaew truck for four hours of feasting. Hit up the street eats and fresh markets across the city gorging on 15+ Northern Thai tastings. Many are unaware that this used to be the Lanna Kingdom well before it was part of Thailand and its food influences come from neighbouring Myanmar, China and beyond. We don't want to spoil the surprise, but some drool-worthy highlights include the zingy nam ngiaw noodles, the meaty larb salads, the sizzling lemongrass sai oua sausages and piquant nam prik relishes among many more lip-smackingly good tastings at places you'd struggle to find alone.

This food tour was incredible!! HIGHLY recommend. It was so educational and delicious. I was with a group of 4 and we loved all our bites. We had 15-18 different things (but lost count along the way). They provide everything for you (water, wipes, bathroom recommendations). We were so well taken care of.

Aim is a wonderful guide. She is detailed and organised. The various food stops were well planned and the amount of food was just nice. I had a great time.

What a great way to learn about Chiang Mai and the northern region of Thailand and surrounds! Our excellent guide Tree curated a delicious and curious tasting tour, including a visit to the market, giving us the inside scoop on local cuisine which I wouldn't have found on my own. Toured around in a red truck and given information not just on food but the culture and history as well. I absolutely recommend this and will be booking the Bangkok tour when I go there!

Excellent tour with more food than you can eat. Really helps you discover true blue northern thai food. Varied and interesting selection of items.

Highly recommend this tour if you want an authentic local food experience in some of the less tourist explored parts of Chiang Mai. Our guide (Indy) was interesting and informative. Have an open mind and you won't come away hungry.

Great tour with Indy! She took us to many great places with lots of variety and things I otherwise wouldn't of tried. Be sure to come hungry as we ended up having around 20 items 😆

Really enjoyed the food tour. We went around by local red taxi van and our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. We visited local markets and places that had been in families for multi generations. Was really special.

AIM was a really great guide for this tour. We had done a food tour from the same company in Bangkok. I knew going in that there was going to be a lot of food, but it was sooooooo good that I forgot to pace myself. We tried so many different dishes and fruit. I even tried the silk worm, but just couldn’t do the grasshopper. Anyway, the food was delicious, learning about the Lanna History was great. Having a dedicated songtaew was unexpected, but highly appreciated with all the places that we went to. Thank you so much Aim for introducing us to all the different foods. Highly recommend. Note: We went back to several of the restaurants on the remainder of our time in Chiang Mai. It was that good. Highly recommend. Thank you so much again AIM.
