We'll visit 4 authentic eateries plus a local bar, including street food from the oldest stall in town, the only restaurant in town serving cuisine from the Kula ethnic minority, and sipping beer while watching the cows come home (literally) during sunset in a rural village. Plus a lot more!

My hosts and I have worked hard to create a truly unique experience that you can't get anywhere else. My hosts and our vendors all have deep roots in Siem Reap, and our entire menu is produced within Siem Reap province, down to the home-made fermented fish sauce and garlic-chili sauces.

We had a great tour guided by Heng. We stopped at a variety of restaurants, and a local home. The range of food we tried was varied and excellently curated. Would recommend to anyone looking to try local cuisine.

This was an easy going local food tour with a friendly tour guide who had a lot of information about the food but also the culture and history. You get to taste local food and something you wouln’t know to choose, all fresh and tasty! Having a dinner in the village with a local family was a treasure. ❤️ It was also nice to watch a sunset from a rice field!

You get to know where locals eat and also have a dinner with a local in a small village and get to see their home. So something you would’t experience when visiting only restaurants. You get a lot of information about food and culture in Kambodia.

Our tour guide Heng was very considerate of our needs, knowledgeable and clear in her explanations and stories- she is fun and very courteous! The experience of dinner in the village home was amazing. Mr Wat shared customs and traditions as well as very delicious food when he welcomed us into his home. This was a fabulous tour which included different Cambodian foods from many types of vendors, a visit to a rice farm and village and a friendly skilled tuktuk driver! We had a great time and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants an authentic Cambodian cultural and food experience!

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Sann, was super professional and shared lots of information and historical background along the way. We had tuk-tuks and drinks during the trip, and both the drivers and Sann were very thoughtful, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. The day covered all the main highlights, and we left with a much better understanding of Cambodia and Khmer culture. Totally worth the money!

I loved everything. Such an authentic, unique experience. Heng was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best time. This is our 3rd time using The Lost Plate and I will always book their food tours once they have any in whichever county I'm visiting.
