It’s an easy walk through downtown, and John is a great storyteller. Expect about 3/4 history, 1/4 ghosts. I don’t recommend this if you have mobility problems.

Went with my boyfriend on Halloween night. It was a very informative tour with lots of history to be learned. Our tour guide Barrister Paul Bearer was awesome! He made us laugh throughout the tour and did great despite it being very windy and cold out. I even caught some potential ghosts in our photos! FYI, keep a few bucks on you so you can tip the guide afterwards. I totally forgot and felt awful! So I hope my review will make up for it 😁

Jeff gave a very entertaining and energetic Newport ghost tour for my mom and I to experience! (Special shout out to Richard for getting him the job). I was chosen as the 'heckling spotter' and it made it so much fun. Great facts about the city and spooky stories, perfect for Halloween week. Jeff was very enthusiastic about his work and we were glad to have been on his tour!

After the initial stories about the ghost ships. Did not think the story telling was very intriguing and felt like most stops was to show pictures that somebody else took. Definitely not worth the price

Super fun and interesting perfect level of detail. I am not totally a believer but I did capture and very scary looking orb in the town square haunted trees….. now I think I’m haunted lol

Took this tour as the first thing we did in Newport. Our guide Richard was really great at pointing out meaningful historic spots , which oriented us to the town and gave us ideas of how we might want to spent our quick two-day getaway. The next morning we did a self guided driving tour around the Mansion District which was a great compliment helping us decide how to spend our time wisely!
