Steve our guide is a seventh generation Newporter and he loved showing around his back yard. All the little secrets any big tour bus could not pop into. Getting off and on for pictures was simple and frequent. Highly recommend personalised eco electric tour.

I purchased this booking for an excursion for my son and I while on a New England cruise. I am BEYOND happy I did!! It was worth every penny!! I think our guide was Steve (I’m sorry if not) and he was amazing!!! So personable, friendly and knowledgeable about Newport. My 8 year old said the guide was the best part lol. We had the electric vehicle and tour guide all to ourselves so it made the tour even more special. Newport is so beautiful and peaceful, and we got to see it in all its beauty doing this tour. Do it!!! It’s worth the money and you won’t be sad!

This trip was enjoyable but not quite what I expected. I thought there would be more time spent stopping and getting out of the lsv but it was mainly just pointing things out as we drove which made it hard to get any good photos of the points of interest. Also the way I read the description I was under the impression a tour of a mansion was included but it was not we simply drove through a parking area for one where we could see a bit of the yard. I feel the description should more accurately reflect the mansion experience. Steven (I think? Sorry if I forgot!) was very kind and knowledgeable and dropped me at a different place upon my request so I could go take a mansion tour. Also I was the only guest on the tour so that made it feel nicer and more personable.

First and foremost, STEVE - our 6’6” handsome tour guide. He was beyond knowledgeable, witty, flexible, and friendly. We really enjoyed all the extra stories too. It felt more like a relative sharing history than a memorized script. The vehicle- easy to get in and out of, comfortable, and cute as can be. The views- excellent and picturesque. We took lots of great pictures that our Florida friends envied. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour to any and everyone.
