• Don’t Miss the Ephesus Tour!

  The Ephesus tour was amazing. In the morning we spent 2.5 hours visiting the site, including the terrace houses. After Ephesus, we visited the House of Mary, followed by a wonderful lunch under the trees at a carpet cooperative. We spent about 30 minutes after lunch learning about how the cooperative runs, the people who make the rugs, the process for harvesting silk, and the rugs they sell. We felt no pressure to buy, and we didn’t. After that we visited the original burial site of St. John the Apostle, and the site where the Temple of Artemis stood, and ended up with a visit to the Archeological Museum. It was a long day but worth every minute. What made it special was our incredibly knowledgeable and personable guide, Marcie. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

  We took a private tour with this company. Everything was perfect and very nice. From the reception at the port; the van is very new and clean; Experienced and quiet driver. And our guide - Hakan, who made us very comfortable and gave us a lot of detailed information about the places visited and their history. We had lunch in a simple place but with amazing food. We highly recommend this tour without hesitation. You will have a great ride.

  My wife and I decided to take this tour after seeing the wonderful reviews of other people on trip advisor. We picked the ephesus and Sirince village tour and were guided by Mehmet on the day. We had an absolutely lovely day with no complaints whatsoever. Mehmet was extremely knowledgable and made sure that we were comfortable through out. I would highlight recommend this to anyone that’s in Izmir or any of the neighbouring cities and is searching for tour guides.

  Well organized tour the driver and guide arrived on time. The driver was a good careful driver. Our guide Mehmet was excellent and courtesy at all times with a through knowledge of the Archeological sites. We would highly recommend this tour company. Alec and Noreen

  I visited Izmir arnd end of May and stayed in Konak for couple of days. After roaming the city for the first 2 days, we decided to book a one day trip to Ephesus;departing from Konak. As usual, we went research on internet and found several companies. But Ephesus Port Tours is the one who came back very fast and their price is very competitive. We decided straight away to go with them! On the day of the tour; our tour guide Mehmet pick up us exactly on time at 9 am in our hotel lobby. He speaks English really well and friendly as well. We started the tour with House of Virgin Mary and then Ephesus and Temple of Artemis. Along our way to Ephesus, Mehmet was engaging and shared with us alot of history about Turkey and particularly Izmir and significant historical building along our way to Ephesus. During our visit to those places; Mehmet also guide us along the way and patiently explain every question that we had about Roman and Greek history in Turkey. He is an excellent tour guide!!! And I am very impressed with the service he gave us. Even at the end of the tour, he bought us drinks and those little things does matter! Another thing to highlight about this tour is the lunch!! Mehmet brought us to a quite and romantic restaurant where we ate kebab, meatballs and loads of delicious meze!! Overall, I am very satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend them to everyone who is travelling to Turkey!! :):):):):)

  What a memorable day it was... Our private tour pick up was in a nice Mercedes van... We first stopped for lunch at Pasha and had lunch between a beautiful garden amongst peacocks! We are vegetarians and they had prepared a sumptuous meal for us... The food was very good! After lunch the same place also gave a small demo on carpet weaving and it was fascinating to say the least... Our next stop was the city of ephesus followed by the temple of artemis and finally sirince Village....Our guide for the day, Mehmet, was brilliant throughout the tour... He explained everything in detail and there was never a dull moment... His knowledge about his country and the rich history is superb... I recommend that one spends a good amount of time in Sirince Village... It's very peaceful and is truly beautiful...   We used this group for a private tour to Ephesus and House of the Virgin Mary. Our tour guide, Zeynep was excellent. We also went to a rug weaving place with a delicious lunch. Zeynep was very good to answer all our questions and add insight to the country and region.

  With very last minute notice, we managed to book Mehmet as our private tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgable about the history of Ephesus. He spoke very good English and he was open to answer all our questions. We even had a quick snack in Selcuk town as we were hungry in the middle of the tour. He brought us to a local sandwich place which was so delicious! Thanks Mehmet! Overall, we are very happy and satisfied with the private tour. This is highly recommended!
