This tour visits many of the actual locations mentioned in the Outlander Novel/TV series. Whilst much of the filming took place in the South of Scotland the true location of the Jacobite Strongholds are to be found in the Highlands.Like all my tours this will be a laid back and relaxed day and flexible in every respect. The tours are conducted in a luxury van type vehicle which has excellent head and leg room and adult sized seats for all occupants. Complimentary water is carried in the vehicle and WiFi is also available wherever reception allows. Lunch stops are at your own discretion however the driver will be able to find you somewhere nice to eat as you require.

Craig promised an Outlander tour and he DELIVERED! My girlfriend and I are huge Outlander fans and wanted to visit sites that are referenced in the show and books. We visited the stones that the author used as a model of the stones in the book, we visited Culloden, Fraser site and the beautiful countryside where the show is filmed. Craig was interesting, recommended a great place for lunch and got us back to our ship in plenty of time. Craig was on time, met us at the dock as promised and provided interesting information as we traveled through the highlands. We even tried to spot Nessy! A great day with a wonderful tour guide. Thank you Craig from Bernie and Jackie!

Our family had a great time on our tour. We saw many of the famous Outlander sites along with Loch Ness and even had time to stop for lunch and a whiskey tasting! Easy to meet up with driver right out of the port and great conversation along the way. Would highly recommend to anyone whether on a cruise or not. Much more affordable than shipboard options and better value as well.
Highland-excursions with Craig Dale is the way to see the Inverness / Invergordon area!!

What a fantastic day seeing so many sites! Craig is a fabulous guide, knowledgeable, clean vehicle & friendly! We loved his tour and he made Scotland and it’s history come to life for us! We saw so much and were even able to squeeze in a distillery visit. We highly recommend using him as your guide when visiting the region!!
