Located in the Lurín Valley, this sacred site was dedicated to Pachacamac, the most important god of Peru’s coastal cultures.
During our visit, we’ll explore remarkable places such as the Acllawasi—the House of the Chosen Women—and the impressive Temple of the Sun, both built during the Inca period. This sanctuary was extremely important, serving as a ceremonial center for multiple pre-Inca cultures as well as the Incas themselves.
To complete the experience, we’ll visit the site museum, where you’ll find ceramics, textiles, and many other archaeological treasures that reveal the rich history of the region.

Definitely a large place. Renzo was very knowledgeable about this site and the cultures before the Incas. He described how color was originally used on the buildings and many interesting aspects about Pachacamac. The museum was small but very interesting; especially the description of Inca cemeteries. I would recommend taking this tour even if just to see the road built for people to travel on to get to the pyramids.
