We had an excellent tour guide, who gave us lots of historic context and prepared us for each visit. He handled the history and context of the sites and also practical matters like where there were bathrooms and where there were not I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I would recommend the tour to others.

The visit to Pearl Harbour and the Battleship Missouri was a sad reminder of how innocent lives are lost when wars are started. The boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial took us to the final resting place of the ship's crew - about 1177 crewmen who were trapped therein when the Japanese attacked. The short film to be seen in the museum prior to visiting the Memorial allows one to understand more about what happened on that 'Tora Tora Tora' day. Touring the Battleship Missouri showed how difficult the conditions of the crewmen on the ship were - living in bunkers, sea sickness, small washrooms and the vulnerability of being killed or attacked at any time. No wonder they have a statue outside the vessel depicting a sailor kissing a nurse, in joy, elation and exuberance, to celebrate the end of World War 2 when the Japanese surrendered in 1945. Sad to see that human beings have not learnt from these experiences and continue to fight whereby many innocent civilians die along with soldiers who have no choice but to fight. Munir Daya

Amazing Experience! Rangers, Tour guides, Military personnel all did an amazing job protecting the sanctity of the area and those who lost their lives all while managing all the visitors from around the world. Beautiful. Must experience while in Oahu.

Growing up I thought I knew a lot about Pearl Harbor and what happened.. when I went on this adventure I learned more than I ever knew before and it was amazing it was a great experience and we really enjoyed the history. The bus ride and the driver was very educating about so many different topics the history of Hawaii Pearl Harbor the birds the chickens I feel like we covered so much history and it was just amazing and he did a very nice job and was very polite and considerate of all.. the only downside about the trip was people not paying attention to the time and holding the bus up. However that is on them and has nothing to do with our trip experience or driver.
