We will go to the Catwalks where we will have a service sector for visitors and a system of balconies and catwalks that allow you to take walks along different routes and access different truly incredible views of the Glacier and the proximity to it.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Clothing: It is convenient to wear comfortable shoes and warm clothes (sweater, diver and jacket windbreaker and / or raincoat). Sunglasses, protective cream and gloves. Also sun hat or coat in case it is very cold.
Departure on Route No. 11, bordering Lake Argentino. From El Calafate to the Perito Moreno Glacier a distance of 80 km, by paved road in its entirety.

What To Expect

In the first 40 km the Patagonian steppe is crossed, later passing the entrance of the National Park to observe the arboreal vegetation mostly belonging to the “notofagus” family (ñires, cherries, lengas) and the occasional cinnamon, and flowers of different colors, among which the notor stands out for its intense red color corresponding to the Andean Patagonian Forest.

5.00The catwalks made it easy to view the glacier from various angles. We had a perfect day for visiting the park. The weather was sunny and fairly warm and even though the park was crowded, there was ample space to walk without being in a crowd. There is a cafeteria at the top of the parking area. It would be nice if the concession was more environmentally conscious and used something other than styrofoam and less plastic. We took a bus tour from Calafate. The guide was fluent in several languages including English.
