Enjoy Kenya’s most popular snorkelling and diving boat safari to the famous Kisite Marine Park, just 50km from Diani Beach. Diving at extra cost, pay on the day.
Snorkel and/or scuba dive in warm waters with pristine coral and marine life diversity, home to dolphins, turtles, stingrays, moray eels and an unbelievable diversity of fish and coral species.
Pilli Pipa have two sailing dhows and can therefore ensure small numbers on each for added safety and individual service.
You’ll have the chance to snorkel twice in Kisite Marine Park before sailing to your private Robinson Crusoe restaurant on Wasini Island to experience a traditional and fresh Swahili seafood lunch (vegetarian options also available).
Your excursion with us includes return transfers to and from your Diani/ Mombasa hotel, all Marine Park entrance fees, use of modern and maintained snorkelling equipment, all snacks and beverages on board your dhow as well as alcoholic beverages and seafood lunch on Wasini Island

Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive (fun dives available for non-certified divers). Dives incur additional charges.
Not normally possible to pick up from Mombasa or North Coast hotels but please ask first to see if we can make special arrangements.

What To Expect
You will be collected from your South Coast hotel or villa and driven by minivan to Shimoni where you board our dhow to go to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. This excursion is not suitable for collection from North Coast Mombasa hotels as the travelling distance is long. Many guests still do it but there can be long delays at the Likoni ferry. Snorkel at two different dive sites with the chance of seeing dolphins on the way and in the park. Dolphin sighting not guaranteed but highly probable. We see dolphins regularly and there is plenty of marine life to see. Then proceed to Wasini Island for an excellent lunch of fish and crab. Alternatives of chicken or vegetarian can be ordered in advance.

5.00We booked this late the night before, knowing it would be a risk, but the Viator team assured us we were on the pickup list. The following morning, we were ready to go but had not heard anything from the Pilli Pipa Dhow team, so I sent a message to see if they were on their way. Sadly, we were not on the pickup list, but they had made some calls and managed to pick us up and get us to the bus on time! The trip itself was remarkable, and we were well taken care of by every single person on the team.

4.00Very helpful and friendly staff on the boat and on the island. We saw many colorful fish, corals and sea stars. On our way we even met dolphins. Unfortunately there were no fins left for our daughter since all were taken by the other kids, so she was the only one without fins which made her sad. Apart from that it was a very nice recommendable trip!

Beginning to end fantastic trip Truth: I only wish they had their sail and we utilized the sail instead of motor. Nonetheless a brilliant, fun trip with exceptional guides.

5.00Let me start by saying this: I am not an easygoing or easy to please person. I like to get something in return for my money. This trip was perfect. 1 - pick up on time, with small souvenir from agency; 2 - van to Pilli Pipa OK; 3 - no delays, after arriving we were taken to the jetty and then to the boat; 4 - Good size boat for the amount of tourists; 5- good assortment of drinks and snacks; 6 - smooth journey to the snorkeling place; 7 - nice and dedicated people working on the boat took good care of everybody and special care given to people like me that does not know how to swim, so I could get the full experience; 8 - After snorkeling , very good lunch with a lot of good tasting seafood and other items; 9 - all as expected on the way back. A very strong "thank you" to the tour operator.
