What To Expect

Sarangkot

5am, our guide will come to pickup from your hotel within Lakeside area of Pokhara. then, we will drive for about 40 minutes to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is best view point to see sunrise view over Mt. Annapurna ranges. After enjoying Sunrise view, our long day hiking will started. We walk through small forest, rural village area and on the hike down hill, will see beautiful Fewa Lake and Pokhara valley. As soon as we descends Sarangkot hill, then we will reach to fewa lake, and then we will cross Lake with rowing boat in an hour.

2 hours • Admission Included

After crossing Lake, our hiking will ascends through village and forests. Reach to the top of World Peace Stupa, we will see the amazing view of whole Pokhara valley, Annapurna Mountain ranges and many green hills surrounding. After spending sometime at the top of Stupa, will descending and will meet the highway.

Amrit is an amazing and patient guide. He is very knowledgeable about Pokhara and answered all my questions. I am a 65 year old woman and I took the tour by myself. He picked me up at my hotel at 5:15 am and was right on time. Amrit kept the pace perfect for me and even carried my backpack. It was a pleasure to spend time with him. I highly recommend this tour.

The guide is helpful, able to modify some of the hiking route in order to fit my fitness level. We managed to visit all the places as listed. Overall, we have a great time.

Amazing view with the sun rises over the mountains, the “little” trekking down quite hard with knee problems like me but with the support from my guide, I finally made it. My guide Shambhu is a good guy, not over talked, just appropriate but good.

Probably one of the best hiking we did start in the morning for sunrise view was awesome and boating again stupa guide was great.

There was a car pickup at the nearest hotel with personal guide for 3 people. Weather is always unpredictable there. We reached Sarangkot sunrise view point. we were not able to view the Himalayas due to clouds and rain. However the scenery of the hills and sunrise was breathtaking. Thankfully rain stopped & Hiking down hill for 4 km was an awesome experience. We passed through narrow rocky and muddy trails, small villages on the way. the guide briefed us about the trail and other stories . We went around Fewa lake and visited a temple inside the lake. Recommend good walking shoes and check weather forecast prior to booking.

We done sarangkot to stupa we are really happy with this trip. We saw sunrise in the morning then boating then again stupa it was such a great tour company.

We have done one day hiking , we started early morning for sunrise from sarangkot and after breakfast walk down and again up to world peace pagoda Close mountain view from sarangkot and stupa , guide was friendly with helpful recommend to all

Probably one of the best hiking we saw panramic mountain view,lake view. Amzing landscape. Guide was also funny. Early in the morning we went sarangkot for sunrise and after sunrise wlk down and finally we react again hill station (Stupa) from the stupa also amzing view.

I thought the hike would lasts early, but found descend and ascend and again descend. Long, moderate hike but view from Sarangkot and Stupa was mind blowing. Annapurna and fewa lake both looking wow. Really impressed with My Guide Krishna for second time with Couch Adventure Nepal team. I love to do more your with these guys , twice is not enough for me. Thanks team for keep me safe during my trip.

This was the most amazing day starting with sunrise over the Annapurna range, then a fabulous gentle paced trek down into the valley and back up again after a breakfast stop. Our guide was fantastic and so patient as we stopped hundreds of times for photo shoots 😊. The views and what we saw along the way are incredible. Highly recommended.
