Experience another world in Badlands National Park. Wildlife and fossil spotting is a favorite as we weave our way through the spires and pinnacles of the park. We make many stops, and can incorporate a hike if you wish! Lunch in the park with spectacular views will be a highlight. On to the Minuteman National Historic Site, for some incredible living WW2 history. On our way back to Rapid City, Wall Drug calls us in for homemade donuts.
Tour with our knowledgable local guides and take in the park in your own time. Our private tours are flexible, with time to take photos, walk and enjoy the area as you wish to!

5.00We toured the Badlands with our guide, Jeff, in a comfortable Expedition. He told us lots of interesting facts about the area which we didn’t know. Unfortunately we were there when the govt’ museums & visitor’s centers were closed. We didn’t get to see the Minuteman Site, either. We did get to visit the famous Wall Drugs and its shops which were great! We are glad we were able to visit the Badlands & check it off our bucket list!
Great tour and made my husband with mobility issues dream trip happen.

5.00I reached out to Black Hills Tour company to schedule a private tour to accommodate my husband with disabilities and 3 other adults.We were very happy with our guide Cindy.Cindy was not only very knowledgeable about the area but made learning about the history of the area and seeing the wildlife so enjoyable. We loved the tour and felt like everything was done to make our trip fun and enjoyable.Thanks to everyone at Black Hills Tour Company for a great day and memories made.

5.00Most definitely a Five Star tour of the Badlands with Kevin Q., a Five-Star guide. We arranged a full -day tour of the Badlands with Kevin for our family of four, and everything about the tour was exceptional! Kevin made sure that the tour would meet our interests, and especially provide our 11-year old grandson a memorable experience. Kevin was thoughtful, engaging, good natured, knowledgeable and patient. We appreciated his informed and understandable explanations of the geology, paleontology and history of the Badlands. He included a stop at the Ben Reifel Visitor Center where we saw paleontologists at work in the fossil preparation lab. Kevin ensured that we saw incredible views, walked into several areas of the Badlands, and saw a variety of wildlife including prairie dogs (with Kevin’s encouragement our grandson counted 167 before stopping), burrowing owls, pronghorn antelope and bison—and Kevin happily stopped the van whenever we asked so that we could take photos. He even included a visit to Wall Drug at our request where he gave us tips on how to make the most of our visit including where to buy the homemade doughnuts for a snack treat. It was a pleasure touring the Badlands with Kevin. He provided a very relaxed and enjoyable experience, and we came away better informed about many aspects of the Badlands and the history of the Native Peoples. Everything about this tour was first rate including the very comfortable large van and the tasty picnic lunch. If you’re planning a visit to the Badlands National Park then do yourself a favor and book this tour. It’s sure to be a wonderful experience and a great value. All four of us highly recommend this tour. FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00We were promptly picked up @ 9am by our tour guide Jeff , who explained A to Z on our way to the badlands were we explored the Badlands the a beautiful picnic lunch before we started for the famous Wall Drug store , for free ice water & 5 cent coffee 🤣 it’s a place to see then it was dropoff time back in rapid city

5.00We had an amazing experience with Black Hills Tour Company! Our guide, Joel, brought history to life at Mt. Rushmore, took us on a stunning drive through Needles Highway, and shared so much insight at Custer State Park and the Badlands. We learned, hiked, laughed, and truly felt like we made a new friend. Highly recommend!

5.00Our tour guide Jeff arrived promptly at 8:30am introducing ourselves an on our way , he explained everything we were doing and stopping in area to show us things for us to understand and what we were seeing, the picnic lunch was amazing Bagel sandwiches, potato chips, cookies & fruit soda & water, with tablecloth & napkins fine touch, then was more sightseeing and off to wall market place for and amazing afternoon we highly recommend black hills tour & Jeff

5.00To all who are contemplating how to visit the Badlands… look no further. We enthusiastically recommend the Black Hills Tour Company. Our guide, Joel Albright, met us at our hotel exactly on time and our full day adventure began. He did all the driving and shared his knowledge along the way. Joel loves the Badlands and gave us a much greater understanding and appreciation for what we were seeing. His teaching background certainly came through! We loved learning about how the badlands were formed. We happened to visit the park on an exceptionally windy day, but Joel made sure we were in safe from dangerous ledges at all times. He shared information about the local history, the geology, along with lots of fun stories to bring the Badlands alive. Joel was very kind about offering rest stops along the way; and at lunchtime Joel presented us with an exceptionally delicious picnic! What more could we (or you) ask for? We highly recommend spending a day in the Badlands with Joel Albright. You will thank us if you do.

5.00Majestic views of unique and colorful rock formations from millions of years ago. It was very windy, rocky, dusty, serene, dry and warm. Well maintained roads, good road signs and plenty of trails. Beware of wildlife. Read ahead about the formation of this area through millions of years. marvel at the works of mother nature.

5.00Steve, our driver was great. Steve took us to see it all. We stopped where we wanted. Information was fantastic. Sights were great and we got up close. Hands down, best tour for the black hills you could.get.
