What To Expect
Overview Experience swimming with two of the four Sea Turtles species native to the Cook Islands. We take you into their natural marine environment, close enough to touch but our sustainable tourism policies mean we only allow touching with your eyes. Their home is not just home to Sea Turtles, we may encounter Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Trevally, and the hundreds of species of tropical fish. You'll learn about our coral reefs, the habitat and what we are doing to protect this resource for future generations. As the Eco-Adventure Tourism Award Winner in 2020, you can trust that our tours are eco-friendly and that your safety is our number one priority. Every client gets to use our unique eco-friendly sea scooters to pull you through the water and assist you during your tour. Conservation & Credibility · We are the only tour operator who sponsor "Te Ara O Te Onu" The Cook Islands Sea Turtle Conservation Society. Five percentage of your tour fee goes to the Society. 5.00Great fun. The team are so patient and caring both for the tourists and for the environment. At first I had trouble with my snorkel (one I brought with me, not one of theirs) After sorting things out, everything was wonderful.The sea scooters made it so easy, I dont think I would have enjoyed it so much without those. They also have life jackets available for those who ask. The extra bouyancy can make it less work floating over the turtles.

5.00I was pretty anxious going in to this. Having the option of a wetsuit and life jacket helped (used both). Kept me warm and boyant! We had safety above anything else I saw out there today through other companies. A lead for our group of 6, a tail/support and a camera person. So it’s a ratio of 1:2. Plus the leader stands in the boat watching. If safety is your priority, I couldn’t recommend them high enough. Sea scooters made it possible with the current running through the passage. And allowed our group to go further out than others who stayed close to the reef (without sea scooters) Worth the extra $$$$

5.00Absolutely recommend. The safety and knowledge this team has makes the tour soooo enjoyable. Great staff to participant ratio. I was nervous to start with but honestly it was so good. Lots of turtles and never felt unsafe. Respectful and amazing professional staff.

5.00Loved it, well organised and a great team at Ariki to take you out to the passage. The scooters were very easy to use and made the tour so much more comfortable and relaxing. Easy to recommend this tour to others in fact I say don’t miss the opportunity when you’re in Raro.
