This is an opportunity not just to see the Island of Santa Catarina but to feel it and taste it!
We will meet at Bike To Go, a Bike rental shop. I will help you set up your bike and give you general instructions. Once on our bikes, we will get to know the geography and history of the central region of Florianópolis. The 22 kilometers of the route are almost entirely on cycle routes and it is quite flat, with a total elevation of only 137 meters. The path is easy and safe, even more so when traveled in a group and guided by a professional, but if you feel you need a little help we offer electric bikes for an extra price.
We will make 6 stops along the way for geographic and historical contextualization, but at any time participants can interact with me and ask questions. At the end of the tour, in Bar do Ori, I will reccomend you the best bars and restaurants in town.

Our first stop is at a deck to interpret the region's Mangrove Park. If we are lucky enough, we may spot locals birds, monkeys, capibaras or even alligators there.
Avenida Beira-Mar Continental
The Beira Mar (seaside) Avenue connects the central Island to Trindade, the Universities neighbourhood. It is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and ride our bikes.

5.00This was a really fantastic tour, and a fun way to see the main sights of the city! Isaac was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, and his passion for his city really shone through. The bike route was also the right length for me - not too long, not too short. You feel like you get the right mix of cycling versus knowledge. Would definitely recommend!

5.00The tour was super fun! Light traffic and great bike paths. Helpful if you are in shape to bike up a few climbs to the bridges. However you can walk the bikes up too. Stopped for sugar cane and coconut water along the way. Very beautiful! Lise takes great pride in Floripa

5.00Making the bike tour with Isaac was a unique way to know the island and the continent! I went with a friend and it was an amazing experience. Isaac is a great acquaintance and scholar of the history of Florianópolis, in addition to being a light and spontaneous person who made everything more fun. He told us from history to curiosities about the fauna and flora. We were able to see jacarés, capivaras.. we pedalled with beautiful views and even had a cane broth in a hidden corner of fishermen, with an amazing view of the Hercílio Luz bridge. The script was very well thought out and the bikes were good, we barely felt the 25km we pedalled. I highly recommend getting out of the obvious tours that are around!

5.00We really liked the walk. Walking over the bridges was very fun. At first we were scared with the distance of the ride (+/- 20km) since we are not used to cycling, but the stops, the relief and the asphalt of the bike path helped a lot. We end the tour with the renewed spirit. Isaac knows a lot about the story and every stop he told one.

5.00I met a lot of Florianópolis with this Bike Tour!! Much more than I thought I would! Everything was good, the route, the bicycles, the stops, and especially the guide! I've been to Floripa twice, but I've met a lot more on this tour. Really worth it!
