I had a fantastic experience on this cigar tour! Hugo was incredibly knowledgeable, and I left feeling like I learned a ton about cigars, coffee, and rum. His explanations are clear and approachable, he tailors the session to your experience level, and he really makes the tour. He is a consummate host. The setting is beautiful, and the view is one of the best in the city. The pace is relaxed, the tasting is well organized, and Hugo is attentive throughout. I came away with a deeper appreciation and practical tips I will use. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Medellín.

Looking for an event on my last night in Medellín, I stumbled across this private event and decided to sign up. This was an amazing time with a great host and a beautiful view. The location sits on top of the hills and gives you a beautiful view of the entire city, but the time spent with the host was very relaxing, educational, and like being with family. The host was able to share expertise on proper cigar lighting techniques, as well as the various cigar profiles by brand and leaf. He was able to pair the perfect rum and cigar just based on the brands and types of cigars that I smoke. He also provided a different perspective to fresh rolled vs aged cigars. He also has an extensive collection. From mild to strong. Unfortunately, the rum was so good. I never got a chance to do the coffee tasting. Listening to his description of how he prepares his coffee, I am sure it was amazing. For anyone that “truely” appreciates a good cigar, great drinks, and great conversation, this is definitely the experience for you. Personally, I hated for the night to end because the atmosphere reminded me of home. I will definitely sign up for this experience again up upon my next trip to Medellín.
