What To Expect
Catedral De Granada 2024
We will take a walk around the Main Plaza of the city of Granada, where we will see the majestic and historic cathedral of Granada Nuestra Señora de Asunción, if that day the Church is open we can pay 1 dollar per person to go to the bells and See the beautiful center of Granada from above, we will take a look at the small craft market, the typical foods of the city and the beautiful people that surround it. We will walk to the burned La Merced church where the guide will fill you with information about the history of each church and place, which admission is free. Finally we will have an educational and dynamic tour at the famous Chocolate Museum where we will have a free tour about how and what cocoa was used for before.
Isletas de Granada
After enjoying the city, we will go to the majestic Lake Cocibolca or Lake Nicaragua, a huge expanse of water filled with many species of fish and the popular Toro shark, the only freshwater shark in the world. We will take a boat and know how the 365 islands were formed and we will know each of them among the most popular as the 2 Monkey Islands, Fort St. Paul where we will Sarpare to Fight Captain Morgan and the best view towards Mombacho volcano. We'll have the best captain and Nicaraguan music in the background.

5.00We are an American and Canadian couple and have traveled to over 100 countries. Planning our custom tour directly with this company was easy and gave us great confidence from the start. Our guide picked us up early at the airport, making everything seamless. Pricing is extremely fair and worth it. We visited the volcano, explored Granada, and enjoyed a great boat tour. We also customized our plans for days two and three, and everything was perfectly organized. Anthony was an excellent guide, and Luis, our boat captain, was great as well. We fully recommend this company for both seasoned travelers and those who don’t travel often.

5.00Doing private tour with Paradise Tours is the best way to experience Granda coty boat tour, lookout of Catarina, Masaya market, and finally the Volcano !! My tour guide was Hanny, who took good care through tout the day. From pickup to drop off Hanny kept up with the schedule, shared interesting facts about all attractions, took great pictures, and played good music while driving ! You can count on Hanny for making your trip enjoyable.

5.00What a breathtaking private tour, especially the end! My tour guide Anthony was super relaxed and accommodating... after the city tour in Granada we went on a boat tour and could admire the Isletas off Granada. After a hearty lunch it has a wonderful view of the lagoon Apoyo. At the end I could see the red glowing smoke of the volcano Masaya... how impressive! I would definitely recommend this tour.

4.00Nice private tour to visit the lake, colonial city of the Granada and the view point. Our guide Elias is very nice and knowledgeable about the history of the places that we visited today. The reason I did not give 5 stars review is that due to the rain we were not able to visit volcan Mayasa.

5.00We were fortunate to take 3 tours in Nicaragua with Anthony of Nico Tours. Each tour was well thought out, our guide spoke great English and was professional. We did the city tour, Leon and the ruins, and Granada and Volcano. Seeing the volcano and Granada was our highlight tour. We were able to spend as much time as we desired at each place and pick where we ate lunch. We definitely recommend this company for touring Nicaragua.

5.00The tour is amazing! So many activities, you are not overly tired, even though the schedule is very stiff. The guide is always listening to your needs and always helps. We were never waiting for any activities, everything is extremely efficient. We were lucky to get Elias as our tour guide. He is knowledgeable and kind. He explained that volcano tour was closed for 1,5 years and now it’s back on. Also it’s a rainy season, but the sky was clear during our visit. So don’t have doubts if to choose this tour, because it worth it 100000%.
