Anthony was the most intelligent storyteller guide we have have ever had! We did highlights of the British museum which was amazing! He had the ultimate insight into the history of anything we asked about. Truly such an intellect but able to reveal a story in the most engaging manner. He skillfully navigated the museum and helped us make the best & most efficient use of our time at the museum. He was FIRST in line for us to enter in the morning and new exactly how to take us around the museum with the fewest crowd interruptions - a true hero in tourist season. We can't recommend this forensic archeologist guide highly enough. When we make our way back to London we already have said we will book him for the week - he's that good!

Our family’s private tour of the British Museum with Anthony was great. His background in archaeology gives him a unique perspective on the objects in the collection. He was able to point out to us the important objects in a period and, often using humor or stories, let us know why they were important. This really enhanced our experience at the museum. Highly recommend.

Anthony Matthews was perfect! My husband and I are traveling with our two boys, aged 11 and 14, and we all loved every second of the tour! The artifacts are, of course, breathtaking - but Mr. Matthews descriptions and asides and anecdotes made all the difference - we probably could have listened to him talk about Ancient Greece and Rome all day! Our next stop on the day was the Harry Potter studio tour at Warner Beothers, and when asked what his favorite part of the day was this morning my 14 year old said, without hesitation, “Obviously the British Museum - our tour guide was incredible!” :) Thank you, Anthony, for making yesterday so absolutely magical!
