We'll start at PARQUES DEL RIO, this place represents a transformative urban development project aimed at revitalizing the city's riverbanks and enhancing the quality of life for its residents. By reclaiming and beautifying the banks of the Medellín River, the project not only improves the city's urban beauty but also creates valuable public spaces for recreation, relaxation, and community engagement. These green spaces offer a respite from the urban hustle and bustle, providing opportunities for residents to connect with nature and each other in the heart of the city. The importance of Parques del Río extends beyond mere beautification; it symbolizes Medellín's commitment to sustainable urban development and environmental equilibrium. MOST COMPLETE CITY TOUR OF MEDELLIN! We traveled a few weeks ago to Medellín with a group of friends, and used The Andes Adventure company to take a City Tour of Medellín. We were blown away, our guide Carlos was friendly, passionate, knowledgeable and loved his city completely, had a very comfortable and nice SUV, and showed us parts that we didn't see on other tour descriptions, like Parques del Río, Palacio Nacional, we walked through a bustling street called Carabobo, packed with commerce and locals walking around, visited a Farmer's Market where it was full with colors, flowers, food and delicious exotic fruits. It also included a Cable Car ride over the hoods of Medellín and Comuna 13 that was out of this world, beautiful murals and graffitis in every corner telling stories of their past and transformation, but definitely the highlight was our guide, it felt like he was an old friend showing us the city, very flexible on times since we loved to take some pictures and videos of everything!! Very Very recommended if you wish to see the most of Medellín and unique places, where one can really immerse in the local culture and understand the history.

An amazing way to spend the day in Medellin. Our guide Carlos was amazing and made the day. The coffee farm is a must experience and Comuna 13 is a must see. Going with a guide to Comuna 13 helps you navigate and they know the history of the area and people in the area
