In the event of any museum closures, an alternative similar museum will be visited. On Tuesdays : Topkapi Palace replaced by Underground Cistern, On Sundays: Grand Bazaar will be replaced by Spice Market. Grand Bazaar on religious holidays will be replaced by Arasta Bazaar. On Fridays: Blue Mosque is open from 14.30 to 16.30

There will be around 2-2,5 miles walk in this tour. Traffic is not allowed in Sultanahmet Square where all the highlights are . If you have walking problem, you have to book private option and have a slow tour with stops to relax in the cafees in old city

What To Expect
Your private guide will meet you at Istanbul port Terminal Building with a sign written “Your Name“ on it at pre-arranged time ( mostly 30 minutes after your cruise doct into port ) or from the listed hotel receptions with room numbers. - Every cruise lines has different dock in times. Pick up times are different for each cruise. Thats why pick up time for your tour will be emailed with in 24 hours after your reservation. Please check your emails and note pick up time and all details you will need during the tour.

After Greeting, walk to our A/C van and start to visit Istanbul the only city in the world located on two continents is Istanbul, which has been the capital of three great empires – Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman – for more than 2000 years. Our first stop is Hippodrome Square where used to take place for chariot races and the Byzantine riots during Roman & Byzantine period.

5.00We had the absolute pleasure of touring Istanbul with Mufasa as our guide, and I can’t recommend him enough! I was traveling with my 79-year-old mother who has some mobility issues and walks with a cane, and Mufasa went above and beyond to make sure she was safe and comfortable the entire time. He gently took her arm, carried her bags, and was always mindful of how much walking she could do, especially on the cobblestones. He even found easier routes for her, including helping us navigate the trolley so she wouldn’t get too tired. On top of that, he made sure we saw everything we wanted to, and even took us to a fantastic restaurant with an incredible view. His thoughtfulness really stood out—we nicknamed him the “dad of tourists” because he carried a backpack filled with bandages, wipes, and just about anything you might need while exploring! If you’re visiting Istanbul, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Mufasa. You won’t be disappointed. He truly made our trip AMAZING!

5.00We had an absolutely incredible private tour of Istanbul with Necmi! From start to finish, everything was seamless and thoughtfully arranged. Transportation was excellent—a spacious, comfortable van stocked with refreshments, which made getting around the city so easy. With Necmi, we were able to skip the long lines and see all of the major highlights without feeling rushed. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city and its history, bringing each site to life with fascinating detail and stories. What really stood out was how he customized the tour to fit our interests, even including stops and experiences that weren’t listed in the original description. We truly had a full-day experience that gave us such a deep appreciation for Istanbul. Necmi made us feel welcome in his country, and by the end of the day, it honestly felt like we had spent the day exploring with an old friend. I highly recommend this tour and Necmi as a guide!

5.00From greeting us at the cruise port to shuttling us to the sites, this tour was great from beginning to end. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was patient to answer our questions. We needed to move slowly and take lots of breaks and our guide was happy to oblige. Highly recommend this tour.
