Travelling through Istanbul with Tarek felt less like a guided tour and more like being shown around by a friend who genuinely cared about us. We spent 2–3 days exploring the city with him entirely on public transport, and he made every moment effortless. My mother has a knee issue, and Tarek was incredibly patient. slowing the pace, helping her whenever she needed support, and even guiding us to a pharmacy when she had a small fall. His kindness never once felt performative; it was simply who he is. As vegetarians, we’re usually worried about meal options while travelling, but Tarek went out of his way to curate dishes and take us to places he knew we’d enjoy. His Indian and vegetarian recommendations were spot-on. His guidance in the Grand Bazaar was also excellent, very tasteful, practical, and without any pushiness. He shared detailed tips on using public transport so we could navigate on our own later, and he kept himself available in case we needed help at any point. That safety net felt incredibly comforting in a new city. Warm, genuine, approachable, yet wonderfully professional. Tarek truly made Istanbul feel like home. If you want a guide who treats you like family while making sure you see the best of the city, he’s the one.

We had a lovely time with Burak guiding us through the key sights of Istanbul for the day. As I was travelling with my mum, who had limited ability with steps and walking, it was perfect to have a private guide and go at our own pace. Burak was very knowledgeable and we definitely got a lot more out of having him talk us through the history.

We had a terrific 3-days with Atahan, who led us thru the best of Istanbul. He was on time, full of information and easy to be with. Atahan went over and above to ensure we were pleased and was patient with our numerous attempts to veer off course. He added a great touch to our visit we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to you.

Buket was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and kind, especially with our kiddos (ages 3 & 8). Our driver was amazing, handling the narrow roads and chaos crowds. A great way to see and do many amazing sites in Istanbul!

We had a lovely couple of days touring Istanbul with Umran. Our family of 4, including our 12 and 14 year old children, was visiting Istanbul for the first time but only for a few days. Umran was very knowledgeable and flexible. As our tween and teen were not super open to hearing a lot about history, she helped us adjust the agenda to include places that would allow more movement/interest for them while allowing the adults to hear about the rich and complex history of this wonderful city!
