What To Expect
We will be meeting in front of Sirkeci Train Station. After sharing our tour itinerary, we will try several street foods on the way to the historic dervish venue. There will be a very short walk to the dervish show and before the performance we will give you brief information about the background of 800-year-old dervish performance, which is also marked under Unesco heritage and one of the must things to do in Turkey. The dervish show duration will be 1 hour.
Kadinlar Pazari
Following the dervish performance, our private transfer will take us to a 140-year-old kebab restaurant and we will taste the wonderful Turkish Food. (Unlimited Dinner: you will try 5 different kebabs, meze (tapas), salads, drink). Dinner will be finalized with tea/special coffee and traditional dessert. Notes: Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free option is available, please send us a message after reservation. (10 types of Turkish style vegeterian mezes) The price is all inclusive. You will not pay any extras.

5.00We attended the Turkish dinner and dervish experience on our first night in Istanbul and it was wonderful. It was a great introduction to the food and culture of this beautiful city. Our guide Sule was enthusiastic and welcoming. If everyone in Istanbul is as nice as Sule we will be coming back for sure.

5.00After enjoying some street food we saw the dervishes which was an experience like no other. We went to a restaurant full of locals for a fantastic Turkish dinner - the plates just kept coming! Our guide and hostess Zeynep clearly loves her city and its history and is keen and passionate to share the story!

5.00Great evening and that gives a real flavour of Istanbul culture and food. The organisation was flawless and our guide, Zeynep, was knowledgeable with great English and made the evening a great experience. The Dervish show was amazing and the explanation provided by Zey brought it to life. The restaurant was fantastic with wonderful local food and great staff. Again Zey explained the dishes to us- their content and background. Overall we both thought this a fantastic evening and having it all organised for us was a great bonus. There is minimal walking from the meeting point to try some street food and the a few steps to the Dervish show. Zey then organised a car to the restaurant and after dinner a car back to our hotel. I would recommend this trip if you want to have a great and enjoyable evening and experience Istanbul.

5.00We booked the Istanbul Traditional Turkish Dinner and Dervish experience for early evening. I had a couple of questions on the timing and these were answered immediately by email. The instructions on where to meet were very easy to understand with a Google maps link and a video of the location. We met our guide Zeynep (Zey) and started with a description of the evening. We then sampled some great street food from a very popular vendor and then onto a Turkish Delight shop for more tasting. It was then s short walk to the Dervish show. Zey explained the show and what the musicians and the dancers were going to do. The show was mesmerising and the time seemed to go quickly. A great experience in a wonderful setting. Zey then ushered us into a cab for a short ride to the restaurant. Again this was wonderful and Zey explained all the dishes. The food was fantastic and made better by understanding the background to each dish. The staff were very attentive and looked after our requests. After dinner Zey arranged a taxi back to our hotel. The organisation was flawless and Zey was very knowledgable and great company. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and thought it was good value Lovely to be guided through the whole evening and not have to think about transport or directions. Thank you Zey

5.00We missed the street food, as we were having lots of it on another tour, we also missed the dinner after because too much food is too much food! However we got the tickets to the Dervish show and that was an amazing thing to see! We loved it! All the back and forth and arranging things were SO appreciated and all the help and patience were as well. Highly recommend these folks!
