What To Expect
You'll receive an introduction and orientation followed by one-on-one fun training. Once you are confident with your Segway, you'll ride along the beach enjoying the best views of Costa Maya while discovering the local flavor of this charming town. A refreshment stop on route will allow you to take a break to admire the stunning blue waters Before heading back to your ship you'll enjoy some relaxing beach time. Sip a cool beverage, swim in the ocean, or just lay on the beach. Your guide will assist you with your transportation back to the pier (taxi ride is not included)

5.00We had a BLAST on the Segway tour of Mahahual (Costa Maya on Carnival cruise stop). Edgar, Isabell and the whole team made sure we were safe and comfortable on the segways. Even our 12 year old got used to it and soon we were zooming around. The downtown area was packed and lovely to see. (Thankfully most people got out of the way when the line of segways came through. ) Definitely an experience not to be missed. (The starting point was not near the cruise terminal but a 5 minute taxi ride made it very easy).

5.00Fun Segway tour with Isabella and Bianca. Quick training with Edgar before the tour. Rode along the beach with a stop for margaritas. On the way back we stopped at the lighthouse for pics.

5.00We booked our Segway trip through RCCL and easily made contact with the guides after leaving the ship. Edgar, Isabelle, Raul, and Bianca were fantastic! Very patient teaching us to use the Segways for the first time, and were always willing to answer questions. The tour was great, and I highly recommend this.

5.00I was looking forward to this and it was fantastic! Edgar and Bianca were wonderful and very considerate of us who hadn't ridden a segway before. It was easy to quickly learn, even for my wife who doesn't even like to ride bicycles because she falls off easily.

5.00I have booked several excursions with Vivitar, but Jesus has been by far one of the best guides we have ever had. He let us go in our own pace. We were not pushed when we wanted to stop we stopped. We wanted to shop we shopped. He was very accommodating, very professional and very knowledgeable, I really enjoyed our excursion. He recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch and took us there and waited while we had lunch. We chose to do that rather than a beach break. He was very accommodating. Never acted like anything was an inconvenience tremendously.
