We were on a cruise and did a tour with Tours Naturaleza Bacalar to the Chacchoben Ruins with Selena. While driving out to the ruins she gave us lots of local information/history and even taught us some Mayan words. When we got out to the ruins Carlos joined us and between the both of them we had an excellent tour of the ruins. Very educational and really well presented. After we finished we went to a little town I will remember as pineapple town and Selena treated us to locally made empanadas and a sampler of pineapple. She is a super friendly person and seems to know so many. We stopped at the coast and she took pictures of us and took us to one of her favorite beaches. The only bad thing that happened is my apple watch fell off in their van and they have been promising to return it and it still has not been. I have no way to delete it from my system until I have the apple watch back. They’ve had it since the middle of December and it’s still has not been returned in the second week of January. I’m a little disappointed.

I asked for a tour in Spanish and 90 in English. Allegedly there were fruits, water and beer... there was no beer and the fruits were Pina on the street, the unsanitary place and the person who broke the pineapple without the minimum knowledge of food handling

We were able to enjoy the visit of Chacchoben with Isis and Carlos (site guide) during our stop in Costa Maya. Very welcome at the exit of the boat easily recognizable thanks to the explanations of Isis, air-conditioned ride during which we had water at will and explanations of Isis perfectly clear in English or Spanish. The arrival of the boat allowed us an arrival on the site before the others which was very pleasant and the visit of the site with Carlos was complete and lasted at least 2 hours. Many very interesting explanations, anecdotes, a real pleasure!

we had taken a few different outings on our cruise and I would have to say that this was my favorite. It was raining so hard when we got off the ship and we did have a little problem getting in touch at first, but once the tour started, it was amazing.. Selena really has a great knowledge of all the area and people. she spoke three different languages., Spanish, Mayan and English. When we got to the ruins Carlos met us there and gave us so much info about the ruins, local plants and so much more. Between the two of them they had an answer for all of our questions

Our Tour guide was Celina - she was friendly, fun to talk with and an exceptional tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our excursion. Our cab driver Victor and Chacchoben guide Carlos did an amazing job too! Pickup and drop was on time. We explored the Mayan ruins and spent time in Lagoon of 7 colors. We were taken to an authentic Mexican restaurant and served delicious Tacos. We consider this as a very memorable excursion and highly recommended it to others! All 5 stars to the management, Celina, Victor and Carlos 👍

We had an amazing experience on our tour to Cacchoben with Victor and Selina! From start to finish, they made the entire day feel smooth, fun, and comfortable. Both guides were incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting stories and history about the area. You can truly tell they love what they do. They were also very attentive to everyone in our group, making sure we were comfortable, hydrated, and getting the most out of the experience. The pace was perfect, and they gave us plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. They even had drinks and snacks for us! Overall, it was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. Victor and Selina made it unforgettable. Highly recommend! 💯

Carlos was an amazing tour guide and shared the history of the area with us along the way. The ruins were very interesting. We stopped on the way back for tasty $2 empanadas and yummy pineapple. We spent an hour at the beach where chairs and umbrellas were provided. It was a great experience overall!
