What To Expect
Sayulita is more than just a Surfer's heaven. Sayulita is a sunny, sea-side surfers' paradise, and is a perfect place to start your surfing journey & begin to experience the wonders that this sport has to offer. Offering ideal waves for first timers & talented instructors, you will have so much fun learning! We will begin your experience by introducing you to the surfboard and fundamentals of the sport including positioning on the board, how & when to stand up, and what to do once you take the wave. Most of our guests are riding waves by mid-session, and we work on lots of other skills throughout your lesson. You will have access to all our facilities, dressing room, a place to rinse off, towel service, Wi-Fi, and a relaxing rest area. Bring on the good vibes!

5.00I enjoyed the class Emiliano make you feel like family and Emilio is also a gray dude. They have a lot of patience and they would help you learn surfing don't expect miracles. Learning how to surf is a long path, but they would make you feel like and expert and maybe you would be able to ride some waves

5.00My wife and I had a great time with our instructor, Manuel. Neither one of us had surfed before and he was very patient and had us both up and “hanging ten” in no time. He was such a nice guy and really enjoyable to talk to while waiting for the perfect wave. Would recommend to anyone looking for an outing while on vacation near Puerto Vallarta. Easily our favorite thing we did on our vacation!!

5.00I recommend WildMex surf lessons through Viator. The price for a private lesson is cheaper on Viator than with the hotel concierge. I watched Michael give my daughter lessons at the store and on the beach. I sat on the beach during their sesson. I saw others give lessons and Michael's lessons were better and safer. I felt sorry for the others. He spent lots of time and was very generous with advice. There is no free wifi in Sayulita. Our taxi dropped us off at the city center -- I highly recommend downloading a map before coming. I asked for directions and found the proper cross streets. There is free wifi at the WildMex store, but not in the town or on the beach. There are tons of shops -- touristy and local. You can easily spend $ in Sayulita! The beach vendors are polite and will leave you if you say no. They do want MXN pesos, compared to USD. The beach in Sayulita had more trash and debris than expected. There is ZERO shade on the beach, so bring an umbrella. For the surf lessons - 100% recommend.

5.00We participated in a private surf lesson in Sayulita instructed by Hugo. He was very supportive and kind. The experience was one of the best during our trip in Mexico. We were created a safe environment to learn and challenge ourselves. Hugo was very patient

5.00Learning to surf in Sayulita was amazing. The waves were great for starting out and Milo, the Instructor, was extremely helpful. The WildMex staff were very friendly and inviting. They were helpful and knowledgeable. I will be coming back to Sayulita to surf again.
If you want to take a surf lesson do it! It’s great!

5.00My husband and I did a private surf lesson with Hugo at WildMex. We have taken two other surf lessons before, but Hugo was the best instructor we have ever had. He had so many great tips and tricks and was very patient and kind. If you get the chance to take a surf lesson do it! Request Hugo he was amazing!
