We travel to the university of cork where for me this is the hidden gem of the city. The university is over a 150years old. The magnificent buildings the stunning chapel makes it a must stop. We travel next to Elisabeth fort built in the early 16th century, this was built to protect the city. We move on to the famous English market. Built in the 18th century. Just to walk through and take in the hustle and bustle of the market is something to behold.

Darren was very knowledgeable about the area so that in spite of there being a marathon going on we were able to get around traffic. He was also very personable. Had a great sense of humor and was an excellent driver and he was willing to give us an extra stop to view the Choctaw monument.

Darren was so lovely. We felt welcomed like friends. Communication was great and he brought us places that couldn't be accessed on a big bus group tour. Well worth the fair price to see all that we were able to comfortably see in a day. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cork! Thank you for a wonderful day, Darren. Hope to see you again someday ☺️

Our day with Darren Haddock was above and beyond our expectations! My (3) sisters and I (ages59-46) thoroughly enjoyed Blarney Castle, Kinsale, and an extraordinary 9/11 Remembrance Garden. We had gorgeous drives through the countryside, away from crowded tourist areas. Darren went above and beyond in every little detail.
