What To Expect

Kardamyli

Our tour will begin from your hotel and in less than an hour, we will be at the first village of Manis’ region, Kardamili. Built entirely on the coast of Outer Mani, Kardamyli will host us for a coffee so as to have the opportunity to admire the wonderful view of the sea. We will also pass from Agios Nikolaos and Oitylo.

Oitylo

The rest of the villages that we will encounter are literally "climbed" in these wild and beautiful mountains. During our journey, you will learn all those historical elements that make Mani a magical region. You will also hear stories about the independent and tough natured locals. We will not miss the opportunity to stop at two or three churches. Each and everyone has great historical interest as they were built between the 11th and 12th century. Our perseverance with them has nothing to do with their deep religionist's residents, but with the historical data that they can provide.

Unforgettable day trip to Mani villages & Diros Caves

A wonderful day trip along the Mani peninsula visiting various villages ( Kardimali, Stoupa, Limeni, Aeropolis) and the infamous Diros Caves. The tour was guided by Telia, a qualified historian whose roots are from Mani. Telia”s knowledge and presentation of Mani”s history was educational, captivating and entertaining. We were chauffeured in her company’s luxurious Mercedes mini van, and visited the Diros Caves ( best to get there early at 9am to avoid cues) then taken for a walking tour to Aeropolis ( beautiful medieval village) followed by lunch at a restaurant in Stoupa for one of the best meals I have had in Greece, and swim in Stoupas beautiful beach (absolutely amazing!). Truly a wonderful day had by all! Thank you Telia for making this a truly unforgettable day for us xxx

Our guide, Aristoteleia, (Leia) generously shared lots of very interesting stories, history, and information about what we were seeing. She was fun, an excellent driver, patient with our questions and she went beyond our expectations in giving us a great experience. The Caves of Diros were fascinating, and the area of Mani was beautiful! Also, the car was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful views! Road is curvey, the tour guide was a lifesaver. The tour guide provided much history, great stories, and personalized service. Van was roomy and comfortable and the driver very careful. Highly recommended!
