• Flight delay of 3 hours, no information from the organizer, bad organization

  I booked this trip with my 6-year-old son because it should be more relaxed by plane than by bus. Unfortunately, the day before the trip we were informed that we would be picked up at the hotel an hour later, as the flight is delayed. Pickup time was then 07:00. Arrived at the airport, the surprise at the check-in desk: The booked flight is delayed from 09:20 to 12:15! Cancellation of the trip or transfer to another flight was no longer possible, so we had no choice but to wait and start the trip late. No help or contact from the organizer while waiting. Arrive in Cairo at 14:00, then take the shuttle bus (1 hour 15 minutes) through Cairo to the pyramids. There the tour guide received us. They then told us that the flight delay only gave us 10 minutes to see the pyramids. Then drive to the GEM. There we were taken to the museum by the tour guide, who explained a few exhibits to us there in a quick passage. The total length of stay at the museum was 1.5 hours, which is a joke considering the size of the exhibition. Afterwards, we were driven by shuttle bus in Cairo to a perfume factory/sales, which was not part of my booking. Actually, we should have had lunch in Cairo at a local restaurant, but this was due to the flight conditions. late has been cancelled. Upon request, the tour guide then arranged for this food to be packed as a packed lunch for the return flight. The time we would have liked to spend longer at the pyramids and in the museum was then wasted in this perfume factory. Supposedly, we were only driven there to bridge the waiting time until the packed lunches were ready for pickup. Then drive to the airport. Arrive there 20:00. There the next problem at the check-in desk: The tour group we had been traveling with since the start of the tour and who had the same shuttle back to the hotel in Hurghada had a different flight number than us. Probably because we had booked through different providers. Their flight departed at 21:00, ours at 21:20, which was delayed again to 22:30!!! I was then able to change my flight on my own, so we got the shuttle bus in Hurghada. On the shuttle bus we tried to confront the organizer. He only stressed that he can't help the airline and it's not his problem. This trip should be an unforgettable trip, unfortunately it became a horror trip for us! The only thing that lifted the mood were the very nice fellow travelers who took great care of my son. After the trip I got in touch with the organizer. The latter has told himself that it is not his fault if the flight is delayed. But he also couldn't answer me why no information was passed on to us. has been given or the possibility to cancel/postpone this tour before the start. He offered to refund 30,- Euro per person privately via PayPal, which of course has not happened until now. In the end, he asked me not to write a bad review, as this hurts his business. I booked this trip with anticipation because I read only good reviews about it here on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, this was not the case with us at all.

  A well organised trip with pick up at our Hurghada hotel and at the airport in Cairo with the drivers and guides finding is and others willing to help to connect the many tourists with their guides. Getting 815am flight worked perfectly. Plenty of time to have at the Egyptian museum, then lunch then Giza, followed by a couple of shopping /exhibitions of olis/perfumes and Egyptian art. Was offered an extra trip on the Nile for additional cost. Only downside was being back at the airport at 5pm and flight not until 9pm. No others in the schedule to change to either. Advice outside of the hot months time wise it is not worth getting a 2-3am pick up for this trip as you will still be back in the evening.

  Well organised and choices throughout the day as to what we would like to do. Nothing forced. Very informative guide. Wissa was very attentive to our needs and made everything interesting. Great driver. Perfume shop good, jewellery and river cruise dont bother with.

  It was just the best trip to Cairo we could asked for. We booked a VIP trip and had a car and a guide just for us. I have to say that our guide Yehia was simply the best!!! He took a really good care of us and we learned so much from him. We enjoyed every minute of this amazing one day trip. Our driver was also excellent. We would definitely recommend this to everyone! Thank you again Yehia!!!

  Very good communication and quick responses. We took one day tour to Cairo by plane. It was really good logistically organized. After arriving 2,5 hours in Pyramids and after the lunch visiting the GEM which is brilliant.

  I went on a trip to the pyramids and Great Egyptian Museum Cairo excursion by plane. It was an amazing day. The flight was smooth. Our guide was friendly and explained everything politely. At lunch, I tried Koshari and falafel. It was very tasty. Visiting the Great pyramids made my day. It was worthy trip.

  It was an amazing trip. We enjoyed a lot. Our guide was a polite and he had a great knowledge about the history. The driver was very friendly and punctual. The car was smooth and comfortable. We visited historical places like Egyptian Museum and we saw mummies. We had a wonderful day and gathered beautiful memories.
