Black Desert
the black desert is a region of volcano-shaped and widely spaced mounds, distributed along about 30 km in western Egypt between the White Desert in the south and the Bahariya Oasis in the north. Most of its mounds are capped by basalt sills, giving them the characteristic black color,
The Crystal Mountain is a crystal ridge located between Bahariya Oasis and Farafra Oasis
White Desert
White Desert National Park is a national park in Egypt, first established as a protected area in 2002. It is located in the Farafra depression, 45 km north of the town of Farafra. Part of the park is in the Farafra Oasis (New Valley Governorate). The park is the site of large white chalk rock formations, created through erosion by wind and sand. It is also the site of cliffs (at the northern end of the Farafra Depression), sand dunes (part of the Great Sand Sea), as well as Wadi Hennis and oases at Ain El Maqfi and Ain El Wadi. The highest point in the park is at El Qess Abu Said (353 m above sea level) and the lowest is at Wadi Hennis (32m). The park serves as the refuge for various animals, including the endangered Rhim gazelle and the vulnerable Dorcas gazelle, as well as Barbary sheep; jackals; Rüppell's, Red, and Fennec foxes; and Sand cats.

I highly recommend this tour. It was amazing. The van picked us up around 7:00 AM in Cairo (Giza). We came to Oasis around 12:00. After lunch, we headed to the desert. We had an amazing driver/guide Hazem. He told us a lot about the desert, and he also shared some anecdotes that made our trip really entertaining. He showed us the best spots in the desert. He took really good care of us and prepared delicious food. We slept in a tent in sleeping bags, and we were covered with warm camel blankets.

Extraordinary experience spending New Year’s Eve in the desert getting so close to the motherland. The guides were caring and good at both driving and cooking!

Wow what a great experience! Sleeping under the stars with a camp fire and dinner was just one of the real highlights of our visit to Egypt. From the beginning Amir was fantastic with the communications letting us know when our driver would be there and what the car looked like. Everything ran perfectly to time, the car was clean and our driver great. Our guide was Badr and he did so much to make it even more special, ensuring we got great spots for photos. We really enjoyed the sandboarding, he is a great cook and the scenery is just spectacular! Highly recommend this experience and particularly this tour company

Sand bording, BBQ, Sun Set, Sun rise and Stars at night..etc It was a little bit far from Cairo but we do recommend this trip. Actually the tour was the best experience in Egypt.

This tour was a full fledged experience with zero hassles. Starting from hotel pickup, desert ride, lunch at a bedouin village, desert safari, sightseeing, sand boarding, watching the sunset, camping under the stars, bonfire dinner, mesmerizing sunrise that seems out of this world, and finally drop-off at Cairo, every single step was carefully thought out and planned with utmost priority for the comfort and safety of the travellers. Our driver/guide was a gem of a person who made sure we had the best time and tried to accommodate everything we asked. I highly recommend this camping trip if you're in Cairo and have a couple of days in hand.

One night in the desert experience was so romantic and nice. The road from Cairo was too far, but it was a good experience to forget it. Ahmed's dinner was so delicious. Eating, watching the stars of the night sky, drinking tea, and Ahmed singing. It was full of stars and it was so good. In the morning, Ahmed simply arranged for breakfast, and it was so good to have it at sunrise. I recommend.

This was one of the best experienced for us in Egypt - thanks to Aeadiy. We were picked from Cairo around 6 am and travelled in a comfortable van for around 4.5 hours to a eco-stay. At this point, I was regretting booking this tour a bit especially because this was the second long journey that I was on in a week - after Abu Simbel tour. But trust me, it is totally worth all the travel. At the eco-stay, we had a decent lunch and were divided into groups of 4-6 people and moved in 4x4 land cruisers. Here we had to pay 260 EGP per person in cash as admission fee for the Bahariya Oasis/White desert as it is a national park. Aeadiy was our driver and tour guide in the 4x4. He was simply amazing - cheerful, funny and helpful. We had beautiful music in the car, dancing on our way through the journey. We went to the black desert where we hiked on a small hill. After that we went to Al Aqabat area which is a beautiful valley. Aeadiy took us to a hidden spot where some of us crawled under a natural cave which opened up on the other side of the mountain. Was simply awestruck! You only get to spend around 15 minutes at each point, but it is good enough for the views and taking some good pictures as well. Then we stopped intermediately for a bit and did sandboarding before the last stop of the day, which was the White desert. Here we camped for the evening, saw the sunset. Aeadiy cooked amazing dinner for us, set-up our tents while we were stargazing on a moonless night. It was the most beautiful night sky I ever saw in my life. After a lot of pictures, cold hands & feet, we finally decided to call it a night. Next day started at 6-6:30 am where we witnessed a beautiful sunrise and enjoyed breakfast. Following that, we started the journey towards the hot spring where we could dip our feet in the hot water. It was a nice experience, but be mindful that it’s not a full fledged geyser springing out of the ground. Finaly we returned at the eco-stay, which you can also book for another night or two apparently. Then we switched back to the van which took us to Cairo. Once again, thank you Aeadiy habibi! Hands down this was one of the best experience of the trip - almost equal to that of visiting an empty tomb of Seti all for ourselves. PS: If you can, request Aeadiy as your guide.
