Experience a family adventure in rafting and inflatable kayaking near Quebec City, just 30 minutes from the city, on the beautiful Jacques Cartier River. This guided descent takes place in the heart of a spectacular canyon, bordered by shale cliffs unique in Quebec.

Accessible to beginners and families, the activity combines fun, discovery and safety. The rapids are playful and interspersed with quieter sections to admire the landscape. Prior to Check-out, clear and reassuring safety training is provided.

You are guided by certified whitewater guides. The experience is turnkey: complete equipment, boats, transport to the launch and photos included. Depending on the water level, complementary Things to do such as swimming in rapids or cliff jumping can be proposed.

What To Expect

Upon arrival at the base camp in Donnacona, you receive the complete equipment and are transported to the launch on the Jacques Cartier River. Once there, your Certified Guide provides a clear and precise safety briefing, explaining the essential instructions and the course of the descent. The adventure begins immediately with dynamic rapids, offering sensations from the first meters. Rafting or inflatable kayaking, you progress through a spectacular shale canyon, bordered by cliffs reaching 75 meters, a landscape unique in Quebec. The guides ensure the safety and cohesion of the group and adapt the rhythm according to the participants. Throughout the descent, breaks allow you to observe the canyon, ask questions to the Guide and enjoy the natural environment to the fullest. Depending on the water level, there may be additional supervised Things to do, such as swimming in rapids or cliff jumping. The descent ends in Donnacona, where you return to the base camp. Photos included. No experience required.

My friend and I had an awesome Kayaking experience with Riviere Concept this weekend, it was the highlight of our trip! The guides were knowledgable and personable, and instructions were in both French and English. It was beginner friendly, and I felt really capable by the end. We will definitely come kayaking again next time we visit!

Great experience, the guide team was very nice, downhill which lasted 4 hours with a break, you have to plan the day 😊. All the equipment is provided , it is really nice especially under the sun Family 2 adults and 2 teenagers

Easy parking, easy to find. Great guides and excellent experience for the value of we went in early August and the water was still flowing well. Exceeded expectations. Bring a water and a snack. The outfitters lend out dry bags. I wish had brought the GoPro.

A well organized, a fast paced, exhilarating adventure in a gorgeous natural setting. The guides managed our single anglophone group easily. However, no technical briefing could prepare us for the amazing time we spent on the river. Wow!

Kayaking through light rapids was Fabulous! I loved it! adventure trip extraordinaire !!!!!!!! Beautiful Scenery… Great Team and Excellent Gear! It was a WONDERFUL DAY!…. and worth every penny!! I Highly Recommend It!! ….. what a great thing to do!! 🤗🤗 There are options of either raft (more for families with younger children) or kayaks! It was a workout!!….. paddling through rapids… exhilarating!!!!! Memory for a lifetime ~ for sure! MERCI!

I gave this gift to my 3 daughters-in-law for Christmas! So, girl outing! It was fabulous! The guide was attentive and attentive to our needs and challenges! Great experience. The decors are worth a visit! Just enough challenge, but safe! WoW, I recommend 100%!
