Bill was very professional, knowledgeable friendly and informative. We learned a lot of Montréal culture and history. The places we visited were great. Unfortunately the River Cruise was not available. That was the only disappointment.

Confusing directions and inadequate help because phone line connected to main office we now know is in Niagara Falls and person did not know Montréal. Got dropped off in front of a building that had doors locked to access parking garage. Did not understand beforehand we had to walk in the dark and cold windy streets to the opposite street on the other side of the bldg about a block walk to go into the parking garage. This parking garage was not our choice. Viator directed us to park there because we were in our own private car and I guess since we were not at a downtown hotel for pick up, this was their solution. Too bad the assigned pick up and drop off spot was not on the same street as the parking garage. It would have been very simple to have made that happen. So it was very disturbing and inconvenient when one of our party who was mobility disabled had to hobble the extra distance when it could have been easy.

Communications on directions where to meet our tour driver were time consuming as person who tries to help not in Montreal and did not understand the city layout or street names. She had us meet him in front of the convention center but parking garage was on the back side of the building a block away. When we returned later that night the driver didn’t tell us the doors would be locked on the side where we were picked up so we had to walk around to the other side and enter through the parking garage. We had two people with mobility issues on a dark windy and cold night. We should have been picked up and dropped off at the parking garage entrance to begin with. Not sure why the company rep arranged for pick up and drop off far away from access to our car. Confusing. Also we’re not told until after we paid for our tour that the boat cruise was discontinued for winter season a day or two before we were told it was included. I’m sure the tour company had to have known the boat was being taken out of service long in advance as it boat operator had the date posted on their own website. Also we were expecting to see the AURA light show as part of our tour and it was not explained n the tour information that our visit to Basilica Notre Dame that it was not included. Frankly with these two discrepancies in the offerings the tour was overpriced and no alternative for us once we paid amd didn’t find out the changes until too late to bail out. $500 for two disappointments were too much. Our driver was very pleasant but gave wrong information a few times. Told us certain religious figurines came from northern Canada made out of teak. We are wood knowledgeable people who work with exotic woods. Teak only comes from SE Asia. He also told us all doors were open to the convention center late so no problem coming back to our car. Not true. We will be telling our well traveled times to avoid your tour group. Not worth the aggravation and blatant ignorance of all employees we came in contact with. Total negligence in planning and communicating. Asia.

Excellent experience. Bill made the trip! Extremely knowledgeable and personable. We visited sites that were off the normal tourist trail in addition to the highlights of Montreal. Kept the group organized and on time. Thank you Bill.

Overview of city, not always as posted. Positive-good driver, potentially good sites, support given to participant with limited mobility. Guide Bill was familiar with city but not so much of Oratory and St Andre Negative-billed as no more than six but we had 8, spent too much time driving through high end neighborhood and not enough at Oratory, spent good deal of time getting to two additional pick up spots, high step on van made exit and entry difficult-need step stool for all. Cruise was slow and boring with obnoxious dialogue. Time could be better spent on Mt Royal or other sites.

This tour was advertised with a maximum of six passengers; however, 10 individuals were in the van with us. Every seat in the van was taken. When I reserved this tour. I was under the impression that was going to be in group of no more than a group of six. When you get to the boat portion on the tour you are with 100 other people.

Experience was generally pleasant. Admissions fee is high compared to the actual time of the trip and the commentary we received from the guide. Too much time was spent on collecting people. The acriual tour did not start until,20:30 or later. Tour ended by 3:30 pm. The boat trip was pleasant, we were blessed with good weather I thought we would be a group of 6 people. There were 12. It made the progress of the trip slow. Both the driver and the guide were very pleasant and ran the tour smoothly. Overall it was a 4 star experience (5 being the best).
