Wow! Fantastic experience. Our guide Donna-Lynn did a great job taking us around. Tour was very well organized. Montreal has so many gems to offer and his tour puts a spot light on a few of them. Donna-Lynn added in a real personal touch by talking about the history, culture and other special spots in the neighbourhood. Come for the food but be ready for more.

Fun and filling Georgia is a great guide. Mile End is an eclectic neighborhood which you will see most of on this tour. The food choices were varied, interesting and tasty. Our group was only 9 and all had a wonderful experience.

We met our amazing guide Eric at the Marche Jean-Talon. He was so personable and knowledgeable. We went on a delicious tour through the market and Little Italy. All the vendors were lovely; it’s obvious they take pride in their food. The food was amazing and the portions very generous. Come hungry!

We recently took the Foodie tour of the Mile End area. It was a disappointment. The whole tour seemed disjointed and not well-organized. The Mile End area is not as interesting as I thought it would be. Granted it was raining, but the restaurants they took us to were empty. There was no one eating except our group. It felt very odd. As for the food itself, the cannolis were good, as was the “secret food” goulash. However, the poutine was not good. It had been prepared before we got there , so it was cold and soggy. To sum it up, I don’t think this tour was worth our time or money.

Dominique was a warm, informative, enthusiastic guide who knew her subject (food in Little Italy and elsewhere in Montreal) well. She was bright, engaging and inclusive.

Donna-Lynn, an enthusiastic knowledgeable guide! Not just factoids, but a personalized narration of this non touristy/family run businesses neighborhood. Come hungry & expect to try the unique tasty eats from the Moe Wilensky’s fried bologna/salami/swiss pressed sandwich with mustard whether you need or not to Canada’s iconic Poutine. There’s much more than food during this walk. Stroll the neighborhood & learn the justification for much of the architectural designs. A very worthwhile visit away from the coach van tours.

My friend and I, recently enjoyed a tour of Jean-Talon Market and Little Italy with Simon. We arrived hungry and left stuffed. Along the way we enjoyed maple products, apple cider, some of the best tacos I've ever had (and I'm from Texas). meat skewers, ice cream, arancini balls, pizza, and a cannoli. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed our time with Simon very much. It was one of the best things we did in Montreal!

Donna-Lynn was an excellent tour guide. She gave us a lot of interesting facts on Montreal and Quebec in addition to explaining the different foods and neighborhoods. She started off with an icebreaker by giving us five dollars to buy something in the marketplace that we felt were unique to Montreal and then talk about it. It was a fun way to start the tour.
