Great experience for family or friends. There’s space for everyone. If you feel like chilling on the boat you can. If you feel like doing something fun you can as well. Highly recommended!!!

It was an amazing experience with Sharm Gate. Everyone was super friendly and helpful from the beginning till the end. They even gave us tips for our trip to Cairo after. We tried snorkeling and there were so many beautiful fishes around

Absolutely amazing day out. Went on recommendation of my friend. Went to snorkel and ended up scuba diving. Breathless scenery. Friendly, helpful and competent staff. Very memorable.

Not for first time divers. Rushed and disorganised. Instructors have poor English. We took our trip 17 December 2025 and booked via our hotel rep with Sun International. What was expected to be a trip to overcome a fear of diving, I thought this relaxed, guided drive would be the perfect solution and to capture the Red Sea the best way, under water. How wrong I was. Before I talk about the negative parts of the trip, there were positives. Slick collection from hotel and only a short wait to be allocated our boat for the day. Ours was Infinity. The lunch was good and included rice, pasta, prawns etc and it was plentiful. The views are incredible. I will never forget the differing hues of blue water . We were asked who wanted do drive and I shakily volunteered, making it clear this was my first dive and I was anxious. 3 of the 4 Brits on board wanted to dive and so we were given what can only be described as a ‘brief’ instruction and no one was asked was this their first dive. Their English was patchy and difficult to understand. This needs to be addressed as giving vital safety information needs to be clearly understood by everyone. Getting the passengers ready to dive was chaos. Whilst we we’re allocated a number , there was no real order and having waited half an hour we were told it would be another hour wait (there weren’t that many diving) We returned to our seat only to be told we were diving now and to get ready so we we’re rushed to the rear of the boat. I’m really anxious as I’m plopped into the water though relieved that the instructor was holding my hands and would be with me at all times. No practice, no rehearsal straight under the water with him not beside me but above me. This is where the panic set in. Not clearly understanding the earlier instructions and on a state of anxiety I had what can be described as a panic attack. I could breath properly, my mask was filling with water. And this point the instructor tried to calm me and took me to the surface. I told him I could breathe at which point he showed me (for the first time) how to deal my lips around the mouthpiece. Before I knew it I was back underwater but felt no more at ease. I told him I wanted to go back up and he obliged. Safely back at the surface and trying to get my breath I took my mouthpiece out as I thought that would help me get air into my lungs. This is the point where he got angry, telling me to put it back in whilst I was trying to tell him I couldn’t get my breath. As we were deep, I was swallowing sea water and still in a general state of panic. He agreed he would take me back to the boat and thankfully I got back safely. The whole experience was traumatic, and whilst I was admittedly scared of trying my first dive, the instructor did nothing to calm my anxiety. Following my experience I would suggest the following: Instructors ascertain who is diving for the first time Safety advice should be given clearly and in sufficient English that people understand Take time with those who are nervous to explain what will happen in more detail I understand that it’s busy, but the rushed unorganised process does nothing to add to what should be an exciting and calm experience . I’m not sure I’ll every dive again after this. I hope I pluck up the courage to try as it really is a magical world down there. PS If you speak Russian you’ll be fine. All the crew, instructors etc speak excellent Russian and you have a half hour talk before your dive about the process. Sadly ours was about 5 minutes. If you’re new to diving like me, probably best to choose a beginners tour rather than this one.

Terrifying, don't book. It is very badly organized, absolutely not recommended for those who also have small children
