The St. John Water Taxi is the fastest and most luxurious way for guests staying at Ritz Carlton, St. Thomas, to access the island paradise of St. John. The short run time of 30 minutes is a beautiful ride across the Pillsbury Sound. Capacity of the Water Taxi is limited to only ten passengers and the seating is comfortable and the cabin climate controlled. Guests will be dropped in the eclectic and unique town of Cruz Bay where they can explore the pristine beaches and trails of the US National Park (a short taxi ride from the drop-off location) or enjoy the shopping and many bars and restaurants in the walkable town of Cruz Bay. Our crew is happy to assist you with planning your time in St. John!

Please note, you will choose your departure time from the Ritz Carlton. Your return service from Cruz Bay is first come, first serve hourly between 10:00am and 5:00pm.

What To Expect

At the time of booking, you will choose your departure time from the Ritz Carlton. Check in for the shuttle at the beachside Watersports Center. Following a short travel time of approximately 30 minutes, you'll arrive at Cruz Bay where you can walk to shops and restaurants, or take a short taxi to the US National Park. When you're ready to return, the return service is first come, first serve basis running hourly until early evening.
