What To Expect

Rovaniemi is ideal for fishing buffs: we have great selection of frozen rivers, rapids, lakes and ponds in the area. We will approach one of the lake by car and set up our fishing spot in the lovely Finnish wilderness. We will walk on snowshoes across the lake to the fishing spot.Our guide will instruct you on the proper ice fishing technique First you will drill your own hole into the ice and then place the hook into water. A catch is not guaranteed but being patient greatly improves your luck! How nice it is to relax after a frost in a hot private sauna and a warm jacuzzi. And at the end of the program you will enjoy traditional Finnish salmon soup in a cozy warm cottage.
