Ryugeji Temple
This temple was established in the early Edo period. The temple is well known to many people for its magnificent view of Kantomi, which is said to be one of the most famous temples in the Tokai region. It is not only the view that can be enjoyed. Take a break and enjoy Japanese tea and matcha chocolate in the room where tea utensils actually used by the Oman family are on display. In the main hall, you can see beautiful ceiling and sliding door paintings. If you want to challenge yourself, there is also a tasteful Japanese-style toilet. (You will need to pay 1,400 yen in cash for the temple entrance fee and the Japanese tea ceremony experience.
Nihondaira Ochakaikan
Shizuoka Prefecture is a major producer of tea and is listed as one of the “three major tea-producing regions” in Japan. Shizuoka tea is also one of the “three best teas in Japan” along with Uji tea and Sayama tea. As a tea specialty store located in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Ochakaikan offers a spectacular view of Mt.
