Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta
At the heart of this picturesque destination is Salisbury Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was built between the 12th and 13th centuries and just so happens to have a claim to fame. With an elegant spire that rises to 404 feet, this is the tallest spire in the United Kingdom. Inside this stunning cathedral is intricate medieval stonework, wondrous stained-glass windows... and the Magna Carta (or the ‘great charter’ in Latin). Ever heard of it? It’s one of the most important legal documents in English history, and now is your time to see it for yourself.
Durdle Door
Back on the bus, we head along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset to our next destination... one that’s been waiting for you for millions of years. The stone arch known as Durdle Door might just be one of the most famous in the world. Boasting its own beautiful beach and stunning sea views, this really takes the cake for ‘breathtaking’. You may even recognize it from productions such as Nanny McPhee and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Alex and Iggy made this tour such a blast with their humor and knowledge. As an historian myself, I was super impressed with how in-depth the facts were (I learned so much!) and how they truly knew a lot about everything and anything, really. Along the way to each location, they provided us with a balance of great music and stories to make the drive enjoyable. Each stop was lovely— easily navigable, lots to see, and plenty of food/drink choices. This tour shows you such a beautiful side of England and I highly encourage using this company to view it!

This tour brings you to 3 areas of interest . At each point, you can chose which things interest you most. If you have seen Salisbury Cathedral, you may go to Salisbury museum or shop in the village instead. I did a lot of walking so was glad I wore my hiking boot. You will not be sitting on the bus all day! There's 1-3 hours spent at each stop, returning to Bath at 1900. Our group had 10 partipants so it was the perfect size. Tour guides were informative and entertaining.. I saw things I would not otherwise had the opportunity to experience. Great day!

Don't plan on a lengthy sit down meal. Wear shoes for hiking. Bring snacks. Water shoes would be great if your going to shore . Guides are wonderful

My husband and I had a fabulous day tour with Barney to Salisbury and the Jurassic coast. Barney was professional, knowledgeable, full of useful and fun information and very considerate. The van itself was very comfortable. I look forward to future tours with Rabbie's and their team.

I found our guide, Alan, very friendly, approachable, informative and funny. I thought it might be a long day, but it actually flew by. It involved alot of driving but Alan told os many local stories about things just before we came past. It meant so much more, because we then knew what to look out for eg he told us about 10-year-old pulling tin carts in the olden days (in Radstock). He told us why George III was unhappy about his white horse on the hillside etc. We had the perfect amount of free time to explore Salisbury and the Jurassic Coast. As an extra treat he even past Weymouth, where we saw both the city and the harbour from the bus. We also went to Glastonbury, where we had some time to ourselves. He made lots of recommendations about what to see/do/eat at each place. Weymouth was such an unexpected appetizer, that it has added to my list of destinations in England to visit in the future. Thank you, Alan, for a most memorable day. I'm not sure whether or not the day would have been such a success, had it not been for our guide!

Fabulous full-packed day. Each destination delivered - beautiful scenery, loads of history - and we just loved all the English country lanes & thatched roof houses. Our guide, Iggy, was fantastic!

Make sure your driver is available. Mine left the van and locked it with all my stuff inside. I just went to bathroom and when I came back he was gone. I never got to see the Jurassic Coast because by the time he showed up 40 mins later they had to go to the next stop No photos to show my family. Being by myself meant there was no one there to watch out for me. You’d think the guide would have noticed. No idea where he went and I did try to find him. Another your company’s guide tried to help me.
