What To Expect
Stonehenge
Early arrival at Stonehenge to ensure the best experience without the crowds. Entrance tickets to Stonehenge are reserved and picked up by your Mad Max guide to avoid queuing and delays. Plenty of time to visit the extensive information centre and wonderful displays. There is also a café for refreshments. Please make sure you have a debit or credit card on the day of the tour to pay for your Stonehenge ticket.
Avebury Stone Circle
Walk freely amongst these magnificent stones. Soak up the atmosphere and the magical charm of this ancient site. Try your hand at dowsing. Time to wander around this pretty village with its 17th century thatched pub.

5.00Highly recommend this tour. Richard was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions as well as tell us interesting bits of history throughout the day. With it being a small group he gave us some different options on how to do the tour. It was a lovely tour with lots to see. I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends.

5.00I would highly recommend mad max tours - they are professional and timely. Our driver Bill was a good driver, friendly and very knowledgeable - we went to several sights starting at 830 and were at Stonehenge before anyone else. I would definitely use this tour company again.

5.00My Husband and I took this Tour on Sept 16,2025. Our Driver/Guide was Richard. The Van was easy to spot at the Meeting place, we left right on time and from there on it was a very enjoyable Experience. Richard has a wealth of Knowledge and Anekdotes and Stories to tell during the drive. There was plenty enough time at every stop for pictures and looking around.
