Great experience with Juan Carlos! So much history here that I never knew about. I’d highly recommend this tour if you’re into history, or just want to see the beautiful architecture and enjoy some of the local culture!

Nice Intro. Good overview of key places in Zona Colonial. Liked starting out with morning beverage in a cool coffeeshop. Then got to see and hear about important places on an easy walk. Liked the ability to start early as it was nice and cool. Enjoyed my guide Jeancarlos who shared history and contemporary culture.

Our guide was really sweet and this is nothing against him at all. However, the tour itself was very, very rushed despite us being on a private tour. We didn’t stop at the church or the Museo (temporarily closed) because it’s a Sunday and that wasn’t communicated to us that we wouldn’t be able to so that was a huge bummer as those were the main stops we booked the tour for. We ended up doing the Fortaleza ourselves. Overall, I wouldn’t do this tour again or recommend it.

Jean Carlos, did an amazing job taking me around and walking me through the history of la Zona Colonial. We geabbed coffee to start the day, visited multiple historical locations, where tickets were included, grabbed a beer, tried some local mamajuana, and cocoa. This was perfect amount of time to do sightseeing without it being overly exhausting long. Jean Carlos was very informative and kind!

We had an amazing time on this walking tour with our guide, Jean Carlos. It was the perfect mix of fun, history, and local flavor. Jean Carlos was fantastic— friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. It felt less like a tour and more like taking a stroll around the city with a good friend.
