Sam was our tour leader today. He was terrific. His knowledge, sense of humor, and ability to keep all 6 of us on the tour engaged the whole time was excellent. We got to have 3 very different types of coffee drinks and a lot of education about coffee and the city of Seattle. I've lived in the area a long time and I learned several fun history facts. I'd highly recommend this tour! Also note: I'm mildly disabled and use a walker for longer walking things like this. I was able to do the tour without problem, though the fact that I can walk up or down a few stairs while my husband carried my walker helped. I think there are routes without stairs, but I'm not sure. There was a bit of hill walking, too, but it was very doable for me. I hope this helps others gauging the effort for this tour.

Sam did an incredible job throughout our tour. Guide was very helpful, great storytelling, and was highly informative and interactive with his guests. I was thrilled to learn so much about coffee, what makes a good cup of coffee and different ways of brewing. Most interesting thing was all the various ways the environment impact the coffee mean. Which country beans come from greatly influence the taste of the coffee. Yemen is now my favorite region for coffee beans. Highly recommend Sam as your tour guide.

Lee was knowledgeable, friendly, adaptable, and fun. We learned and had a fun day. Enjoyed several cups of different types along the way and, as always, enjoyed seeing some new sights in Seattle.

Great coffee tour and good way to explore Cap Hill. Lee was a great tour guide and had in depth knowledge of not only coffee, but Seattle history and culture. He was able to answer the most obscure Fraiser reference as well as provide insight to the history, cultivation, and economic factors behind coffee. The tour started with a cupping where we tested our taste palettes and learned how coffees are judged by experts. Then we went to another coffee shop, and tried eclectic coffees enhanced with mushrooms. And our last stop was a place that made specialty coffee's with attention to detail and taste reminiscent of a cocktail bar. All in all we went to four different coffee shops, walked a total of maybe a mile, and had several cups of free coffee and got several recommendations for other coffee shops and fun things to do in Seattle. Lee went above and beyond to make this a great experience. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Seattle!

My husband and I took Lee's coffee tour during our visit to Seattle last summer, and even a few months later, it remains a memorable favorite of our trip. Lee was so knowledgeable about the coffee, the city, and the neighborhood, and the tastings were all so unique and delicious. This is good coffee and good history without any of the snobbery that sometimes comes with coffee fanaticism. Highly recommend.

We went on the coffee tour as a fun date experience. Even though we live in the Seattle area, we both had a great time experiencing the area as a tourist, trying different drinks, and learning all about coffee from plant to cup. Lee was friendly and knowledgeable. Our group was small which made it easy to hear the information and to chat with one another. We went to 3 locations for drinks, had black coffee, mushroom coffee, and a specialty drink and they were all delicious! Appreciated the tips for other places in the area to try for both coffee and food as well. Highly recommend the tour and will suggest it to family and friends who come to visit.

Lee was a great guide! We had an extremely enjoyable time learning about coffee and its history in Seattle. And we were introduced to a bunch of great spots I’d love to go back to. The samples were varied and delicious. It was really nice to attend with a small group in the tourism off season. Highly recommend!
