We start our tour from Pier 69 along historic Alaskan Way just steps from the world famous Pike Place Market.
Space Needle
Departing from Pier 69 on Seattle’s downtown waterfront, the vessel begins its journey by heading out into Elliott Bay. As you leave the dock, you’ll have a clear view of the Seattle skyline, with the iconic Space Needle standing tall to the right. 5.00Great way to spend 3.5 hours. I enjoyed the time on the water, the orcas were difficult to track but the naturalist kept things entertaining, the galley was a good with reasonable lines.

4.00Gather prior information about parking lot, if you are driving to the venue. Book window seats for better view. Middle seats not only prevent from a better view but also too close to have comfort while seating across fellow passenger.
Very nice staff, could not see the whales.

2.00The whales are seen from a far. It was almost impossible to see over the crowd of people on deck. I am 5’1 and the boat did not rotate so all passengers could see the whales from their side, I had to walk to the the side of the boat closest to the whales but could not see anything over the people who were seated there already.

4.00Priority seating was so much better than I expected. We were seated in a warm cabin with nice seats and fold down tables in front of large windows, which made it easy to see wildlife from the inside. I had small children with me so it was nice to not have to be outside to see the wildlife. We saw one humpback whale along with a bunch of other wildlife. Overall a great experience!
