**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00The tour of Shibuya was super fun and we got to wear fun costumes in the process. It was interesting that so many people waved at us and took photos. We went on New Year's Day, so the traffic was pretty light, and made the experience a little more comfortable.

5.00Well organised experience with really friendly, helpful and flexible staff which made the actual karting session on some of Tokyo’s most busy and popular streets so easy and fun. The whole family had a great time and would definitely do it again. Thoroughly recommended!!!

5.00Fantastic fun for everyone. Don't be too nervous the guides are awesome and after a couple of intersections and getting a feel the kart you can enjoy the city. Dressed as minions we karted through Shibuya crossings New Year's Eve with the crowds watching. AWESOME....... Do it

5.00It was great fun driving through the streets in go-karts and in costume. Many people on the sidewalk waved as we went by and kids smiled at seeing their favorite cartoon characters driving around. Jan did a great job in providing instructions and leading our group. Jan also took pictures of us and provided them free of charge at the end. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tokyo. One suggestion: Remember to take time to waved back to people and kids, it makes the experience that much more enjoyable.
