Great full day trip! Rise Sigiriya exhausting but worthwhile. Cave temple also very interesting. Since you have to drop off shoes (g small fee) at the temple, it is best to pack stockings. Driver and passenger were very nice and it was no problem that we didn't want to do some things like Villagetour, Market etc. Cricket stadium was closed, but we were tired after the climbs anyway. All in all recommended:-)

Had the most amazing trip to Sigiriya and Dambulla with Chamara. He was curious and cheerful and nothing was too much bother. The day was very much tailored to what I wanted to do and we were joined by his friend/colleague Chanaka who spoke incredible English which made the day an awesome experience. I learned so much from them about the culture and everyday life in Sri Lanka, the conversion alone during the long drives was a treat. They went out of their way to ensure I got to try some local fruit and delicacies as well travelling in a tuk tuk, ox and cart and paddle boat. At every point of the trip what we did next was entirely down to me, completely bespoke. Asa solo female traveller I felt safe and comfortable at all times. Thank you Chamara and Chanaka for a great day!

I recommend the trip. Both men were very polite and nice, they drove carefuly. We felt safe. The drawback was unexpected stop at herbs&spice garden where we were pushed to buy their 'miracle' products and a massage.

I tried 3 different activities on Viator for my trip in Sri Lanka - this is by far the best tour (& trip) in my experience. Chanaka & Chamara from Island Divvy Tours were professional & very informative throughout the trip, explaining the history of Sigiriya, Dambulla cave, as well as the areas that we passed through (e.g. when we passed the Kalutara Bodhiya, they stopped the car so that they can put some donations as part of the local tradition). Although the Village Safari was not part of the tour, but they make time during the trip & I got a good deal (thanks to their Connection to the tour operator - I very much enjoyed the experience of the Village tour from riding on the ox cart, the local village cooking experience, boat trip and tuk tuk ride). Along the way, we also stopped by a few stalls to check out the different shops selling fruits, try the King coconut, and the local desert 'Helepa' (Thanks for the treat!). I strongly recommend Island Divvy Tours over any other tours for Sri Lanka - they also have other offerings i.e. car rental, airport pick up, etc. They put customer first, they try to understand what I would like to see and then tailor the trip accordingly based on my interests. They are not as commercialised compared to the other 2 tours that I took during the trip. For my next trip to Sri Lanka, I will be sure to book everything through Island Divvy Tours.
