This tour does not include a stop at the Emerald Grotto due to long waiting times. All interested guests can independently visit it during their free time.

Li Galli
An uncontaminated archipelago south of the Sorrento peninsula: Li Galli. There are three islands that make up Li Galli: Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda and Dei Briganti, the latter better known as La Castelluccia. The archipelago is part of the protected area of Punta Campanella and falls within the municipality of Positano. If you look at the outline of the archipelago from above, what you seem to be able to see is the figure of a dolphin or, if you want to remain faithful to the myth, the tail of a mermaid.

5.00We booked a private tour along the Amalfi Coast with the company Max Travel. Our driver and tour guide Alessandro picked us up from our hotel in Maiori. We had chosen the towns of Sorrento, Positano and Ravello as destinations. On the way there we came one after the other through many small and very beautiful villages. Alessandro knew how to tell an interesting story about each village or coastline. So he showed us the house and favorite restaurant of Sophia Loren in Praiano. Since we don't speak Italian and he doesn't speak English, Google translator had to play the interpreter. That also worked out very well. Sorrento is a beautiful town, we had on a hill a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding area. By car, Alessandro slowly led us through the lower city in Positano and showed us the most beautiful corners and alleys with the bustle of their visitors. Alone, we would never have been able to explore the many streets of this beautiful district. After a very delicious lunch in a restaurant in Praiano under lemon trees (we ate lemon risotto) we visited the high-altitude small town of Ravello with its many typical ceramic shops. Overall, thanks to Alessandro, we spent a wonderful day experiencing the beauty and diversity of the Amalfi Coast. A few days later, we went to the Sal de Riso confectionery in Minori, located on the waterfront, which Alessandro had recommended to us before. It offers countless, extraordinarily delicious coffee and cake delicacies and has already hosted many prominent visitors from all over the world. Chantalle, Andrea and Burkhard

5.00Wonderful experience. Great way to see Positano and Amalfi without staying there. Plenty of time to grab a panini and caffé and explore around. We went out on a windy day and our captain was an expert at navigating the weather. We felt so safe and enjoyed the beautiful views from the boat with an ice cold Peroni in hand. Worth every euro.

5.00Absolutely fabulous boat day. Favorite day of the trip. The views are absolutely amazing. The captain was very good. Boat was good size and we spent about an 1.5 hr in amalfi first then 1.5 hr in positano. It really was lovely. Also got offered some wine and limoncello. Water, snacks. They stop last in a little cove to swim! It was so amazing. Highly recommend

5.00Great experience. Got picked up and dropped off which was great. The boat ride and staff were fantastic. Spending time on land not as much as it was very hectic. Would have stayed the whole time on the boat. Had free time to swim but unfortunately we don’t know how so we enjoyed the views and calmness of the water. Would recommend tour.

4.00Tour company arranged pickup from hotel and took around 20’ min to get to the port. There were 12 people on board however boat only sits 10 comfortably so my husband and I had to sit on the cushioned flat on the bow of the boat which was ok for a short period time but in the way back for over an hour. We stopped at Positano and Amalfi which we wanted to see for 1 1/2 hours each. Swim stop on the way home for 20 min. We were offered 1 drink and snack on the way there and back with a nice Lemoncello to finish.

4.00Excellent tour but it was a small boat and the capacity was really 10 people, not 12. Two people had to lay down because there weren’t enough chairs/benches with backs.
