  Our guide Snowshow Joe was extremely prompt and helpful the entire tour, which started before 5 am and ended after 7:30 pm. We were blessed with a beautiful day with clear blue skies and the aspen foliage had turned. A couple things to consider if this is your first tour. It’s a long day, but you are given multiple opportunities to eat and hit the restrooms. Our guide even hosted us with his own lunch buffet including fresh salads, wraps, salsa and chips, fruit salads, many options for drinks and more. We had brought our own snacks, but didn’t need them. There is no racking in the bus, so any extra bags you bring will need to be on your lap or floor by your feet. The trip to the sequoias was somewhat strenuous on the way back, so consider if you are able to walk a little over a mile uphill on the return. Snowshoe Joe’s knowledge of the entire area even outside of the park was outstanding. Beautiful park, outstanding guide, and amazing weather all contributed to an amazing time for my wife and I. We both highly recommend, especially if it’s your first trip to the park and don’t want to deal with driving in large amounts of traffic and extremely high drop offs :). You’ll get a great history of the park in a stress free environment.

  My husband and I went on the September 24th tour and had a wonderful time. Tour guide, John, was super knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The ride to and from the park is long, but it is a stunningly beautiful one- especially if you see the sun rise or set. John plays some informative videos about the park along the way, as well. The park itself is even more breathtaking. The temperature varied that day- depending on the time and area- from 28 degrees to 76 degrees, so wear layers! Also, make sure you get a good night's sleep the night before because you will want to have lots of energy to fully enjoy the trip. You get to see and do so much in a day and there are moments it might feel a bit rushed- but it's worth it. The organization and planning of this tour is excellent and they have to keep everyone on a tight schedule to make it work. We had an awesome group and perfect day. Would highly recommend if you want to do Yosemite in a day.

  This was a fantastic experience! Snowshoe John was our guide and he did a phenomenal job. He gave us so much interesting information, kept us on time and provided an all around excellent experience! Would highly recommend!

  A early morning rise but worth at 5:00AM departure but so worth the effort! Our tour director was awesome, his name was John and he did everything possible to make the trip great! He prepared a breakfast and a really good lunch for everyone, he deserves a 10!!

  John gave us a very informative tour. He was pleasant and very concerned about guest comfort. He stayed on schedule and always repeated each stop expectation. Breakfast and lunch were set up by John out side the bus buffet style, choices were good.

  Great Trip !! Snowshoe John was full of energy & packed with information all along the trip. He made sure we were able to see all we could. The pinic lunch was very good. Could not have seen all that we were able to see or know about with out John !!!
