What To Expect
KonEpruske Caves
After arriving at the Koněprusy Caves southwest of Prague (a Czech Cultural Monument located in the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area), you will join a guided excursion of the largest underground cave system in Bohemia. Admire the majestic stalagmites and stalactites all around you. Learn about the prehistoric Celtic settlements which existed there. Visit the jaw-dropping limestone domes and halls.
Karlstejn Castle
Upon arriving to the Karlstejn visit we will take a cab that will transport us up the hill to the castle where you will visit the 14th century residence of medieval Bohemian kings which protected the Crown Jewels and other royal tresures. Admire the collections of art as well as many historical relics. The tour is guided and delivered in English (basic tour- can't guarantee size of the group- can vary based on the season).

A meaningful visit during a warm day in Prague

5.00We had spent a day visiting the castle holding a lot of the history of the king Charles in the morning and the beautiful cave right after having a tasty lunch with the local dishes. It was a warm day in the 90F while in the cave it was at 50F. Adam was our tour guy. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the culture of the places. Many thanks!

5.00Great day trip for me and my 16 year old daughter. Tour guide Sona was amazing. She provided tons of historical information and answered our endless questions. We originally booked the tour for the castle but found the cave tour to be a delightful surprise. The tour van was very comfortable, loaded with snacks and water, and the lunch was delicious. Would wholeheartedly recommend this experience!

5.00This was a great tour and lunch was good too. People with mobility issues should be aware that it's a little bit of a trek up the hill to the castle and the caves have many many stairs. 😊
