Are you ready for an evening of fun and merriment? Then welcome to a fascinating journey to the past! Once you reach the historical tavern, which is located right in the middle of the Old Town, take a steep stairway which leads deep into the darkness of old gothic cellars and–for this one night–also deep into the past. Let yourself be immersed in sights, sounds and smells that feel centuries old.

Get seated by an innkeeper and let the show begin! Watch the jugglers, beautiful belly dancers with swords and live snakes, listen to medieval music but be careful–every now and then a sword fight flares up. So hold your jug of beer or goblet of wine and hope a musketeer does not challenge you to a duel!

While you eat a rich, 5 course dinner - enjoy the show that plays throughout the entire evening. There is plenty to look at, to listen to, but most importantly plenty to taste! And if you are lucky you get your destiny read from your palm by a real fortune –teller!

Seating is arranged in a communal, historically inspired tavern-style setting, where guests may share long wooden tables as part of the authentic medieval experience.

4pm: 3 course menu contains: soup + main course + dessert

7pm: 5 course menu contains: cold starter + soup + warm appetizer + main course + dessert

Children up to 12 years old: Potato soup + Chicken leg with mashed potatoes + Homemade cake (traditional sponge cake “bublanina”) Drinks: Unlimited soft drinks

What To Expect

Enjoy an unforgettable medieval-style dinner and show in an atmospheric underground tavern located in the very heart of Prague Old Town. Watch the jugglers, swordsmen and beautiful belly dancers, listen to medieval music, all this while you eat your 3 or 5 course delicious meal. Let the beer and wine flow and you enjoy this ultimate medieval experience.

The food and drink were good. The entertainment was a lot of fun with a lot of interaction between guests and entertainers. The beer and wine is all you can drink, but it took a minute to figure out how to get that flowing. You definitely get enough to eat maybe too much. You are sitting at tables with people from all over the world and it was fun getting to know the others. It was a fun evening.

Amazing experience. A highlight of our holiday. The venue was incredible. The service was excellent. The entertainers were fantastic! My daughter was captivated and on the edge of her seat throughout. The only criticism was that the food was average, (we went for the 3 course), but we did not leave feeling short changed. I would highly recommend.

Disappointed overall.. even though we booked a couple of weeks in advance we were seated in a room upstairs as overspill.. whilst the performers and servers tried to replicate the experience being had downstairs, it didn’t match up.

This was an amazing experience, sitting on tables with strangers and getting to know them in a short space of time. The food was ok (I’m quite fussy) the staff and entertainers were amazing and did a fantastic job.

Great night at the Medieval Banquet. Very easy to find in centre of old town. All beer or wine you can drink. Food was good and in medieval style. Dancers and actors very entertaining.

Good meal with good quantity. Beautiful show (dancers, troubadours, fire-breather...). Flats: -We don't choose our place so we were with strangers who didn't speak the same language as us and we weren't face to face, too bad... - A lot of waiting time between the 2nd starter and the main course - A lot of show around dancers, fire-breathing seen only once for dessert and very quickly. That said, I recommend it is an experience to do!:)
