On this 3.5-hour tour, learn all about Korea’s culinary customs from your guide, an expert in local Korean food and culture, as you journey through the streets of Seoul. Explore the bustling district of Jongno-gu and visit four different food stalls and restaurants, as well as a traditional village, to try a variety of Korean dishes like Korean pork barbecue and mixed Soju bomb drinks, and enjoy savory, crispy mungbean pancakes paired with traditional rice wine at an authentic Korean old school bar. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden gems beloved by locals and well off the beaten tourist path. Our fun and knowledgeable guides will also share cultural insights and teach you essential Korean dining and drinking customs.

This small-group tour operates with a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 10.
If the tour does not reach the minimum number of passengers, it may be canceled after confirmation. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. If only two passengers are booked and you still wish to proceed as scheduled, an additional fee for a third passenger may be requested.
A moderate amount of walking is involved; comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
The tour is free for children aged 5 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Restaurants are child-friendly and offer non-alcoholic beverages such as soda and juice.
Please note that the legal drinking age in South Korea is 18.
If late, customers are responsible for missed participation in the program.

Insadong
Korean BBQ restaurant, you'll taste pork belly or soy sauce marinated pork barbecue with a variety of side dishes and also drink 'bomb shot', the Korean style mixed drinks.
Insadong
Jumak, a Korean old school bar/pub and you'll try different types of traditional rice wine with a savory and crispy pancake.

5.00The entire experience was terrific!! Our host, Chris, was friendly and engaged each of us in personal conversations throughout the evening to learn more about our interests and vacations. The locations he guided us to all had a cool vibe and, of course, the food was fantastic!!! Being with a small group, there were lots of fun conversations. Overall, it was an experience I loved and would definitely repeat when I return to South Korea.

5.00This was a fun experience and good introduction to food around Seoul, including KBBQ and live octopus. Chris was very friendly and great to talk with. He took care of all the ordering and logistics so we could just enjoy the experience. He also gave us good recommendations for the rest of our time in Seoul.

4.00We had a nice time walking through Insadong and Ikseon-dong sampling dumplings, Korean BBQ and desserts. There was lots to eat and Chris was a very chilled guide. The last stop for pancakes at Gwangjang market was a wasted opportunity as we passed by the interesting looking food stalls to go to a small cafe where the choice was fried pancakes with mung bean, pork, seafood or live octopus.

5.00This was such a fun and easy way to sample Korean food. We visited 4 different locations - the first location our guide, Chris, ordered some food that we ate while we walked. There were tables waiting for us at the next 3 stops. The second stop was bbq, the third stop was Bingsu and the 4th stop was other Korean food. Loved this tour!

5.00Chris was a wonderful guide! He has an easy manner about him and spent individual time chatting with each person in the group along the way to our destinations. We got to try traditional Korean dishes with personal explanations of the food, culture, and different neighborhoods in the city.
