Discover the rich olive-growing heritage of Cres on this guided experience that blends nature, tradition, and local flavors. The tour begins with a walk through centuries-old olive groves just outside Cres. Along the way, your guide will share insights into traditional olive-harvesting methods, the olive varieties found on the island, and their unique characteristics.
Next, step inside a local olive oil mill. Learn how olives are transformed into high-quality olive oil, how it is stored, and what makes it special.
The journey continues into town, where you’ll visit a local olive oil producer in his shop. Enjoy an olive oil tasting session accompanied by a traditional aperitif.
You’ll visit another local producer to sample homemade jams and spreads crafted from fruits encountered during the tour, such as wild pomegranate, olives, and figs.
As a sweet souvenir, each guest receives a jar of olive jam (sweet or savory, subject to availability) — a delicious taste of Cres to take home.

To understand the city and the importance of olive growing in the region - a very good idea. Very nice and competent care.

It was really great! A beautiful hike through the olive trees and a cool insight into the process of the oilmaking. Also had a nice little lunch afterwards where we got more recommendations from our tour guide, what to do on the island. Would recommend it to anyone!
