A great tour that offers an unique perspective when it comes to local cuisine and local street food. A learning tour about the traditional favourite foods and drinks. Our tour guide who has an excellent command of English, is well informed and has created a safe and fun experience that is also adaptive to any allergies one may have or foods that one may dislike. It takes about 3 hours and it explores different areas of central Yogyakarta. Upon completion our bellies were full and our palates have expanded.

Fun experience that introduces you to Yogyakarta food. The guide and other travelers were way better than the food itself in my opinion.

Jasmine took us on a magical mystery food tour to authentic Javanese places, where we enjoyed dishes we had never tasted before. Jasmine has a really good knowledge of what goes into each dish, so it was a big departure from just pointing at pictures & saying "I'll have that please". The dishes were excellent, the flavours quite diverse & Jasmine introduced each one in a relaxed & friendly way. Don't miss this gem!

My husband and I had the best time on this tour. Anisa was so thoughtful and knowledgeable about the food and the city’s history. It was a perfect introduction to Yogyakarta and made us so much more comfortable about our stay in the city. The food was so tasty too! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful tour with Kalika! The whole tour was expertly planned and delivered with care. We learned so much about Yogya and all of the food we ate throughout the night was excellent — can’t pick a favorite stop!

This was my first food tour— I came in without much in the way of expectations and loved every second of it. Kalika was a friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable tour guide, happy to make the evening fun and answer our questions (always with a smile on her face :-). I also appreciate that she paid good attention to hygiene, providing hand sanitizer at each stop and utensils at a street food stall. Each eatery provided delicious food that I would not have tried if I were on my own. Overall, the night was extremely well-planned in terms of food selection and transit between each stop. The guide Kalika was incredible, providing an additional very fun non-restaurant stop at the end of the evening and waiting with each guest until our transport arrived. Worth every cent of the ticket price.

Anisa was a wonderful guide on this tour. The food tour had a lof of different options and the explanation of the background of the different foods can also be seen as a introduction to the culture. A real must do. We did the tour on a saturday night. Also recommend that since more locals are out & about and there is more activity in the main streer. Temakasi.

Fantastic food tour with jasmine last night. We were lucky enough to have our party of 3 as the total group. Jasmine explained all our dishes thoroughly as well as sharing her knowledge of local history and activities in Jogja. We would never have found or tried the food stands she recommended. We will be going back for some of the dishes tonight, starting with the charcoal coffee!
