Your walking tour of Charlottetown starts on the city’s waterfront at Confederation Landing.
From here, the tour will progress up Great George St. which is known for the evolution of architecture displayed here with its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture on one side of the street and Gothic Revival architecture on the other side.
Continuing onward, guests will stroll the grounds of Province House - also known as the birthplace of Confederation before heading over to Victoria Row.
Guests will continue onward to view the Confederation Centre of the Arts where the world famous Anne of Green Gables play has been running for over 50 years!
The government buildings are a stunning example of brutalist architecture. Here you will visit the Beaconsfield Historic House and the Government House of Prince Edward Island.
After this, the tour will start to head back toward the starting point by following the Victoria Boardwalk.

Enjoyed the tour. Guide was knowledgeable and engaging. There were several competing groups in town and we managed to navigate around them. Good value.

I was the only one in the tour and the guide went over and above in showing me Charolettetown. Highly recommend this tour to learn about its beginnings to this day and age.

Guide didn't really know very much about Charlottetown at all. She was from Toronto and was shipped in to cover, so it probably wasn't entirely her fault However, the tour basically finished after an hour at the park and then those that wanted to stay a the park left the tour and the rest of us just followed back to the starting point. This was the first of two tours on our cruise with this company (Trip Shepherd) - the second was terrible too. Could have learned more from Google!

Tried to get this tour moved as the time frame was too late to return to our ship. A refund would be appreciated.
